Spacious hotel in great location in walking distance to all city centre attractions. Bedroom was large, well-equipped and the large bed was very comfortable. Staff were super friendly and helpful and the breakfast and other meals were of outstanding quality.

At 10.32 you cannot order something of enting of drinking but the receptionists and other personeel walking around us with glasses of wine and beers. They said that we were guests but not clients. This hotel is supposed for people who work. We were 7 persons who were in activities related with our job. .

Set in lovely surroundings of water and greenery. Room was spacious but a bit cramped by the bunk beds and toilet being so close together. Bar area nice and dining area for breakfast very spacious. Continental breakfast was lovely - cheeses, meats, boiled eggs, good selection of breads and fruit and yoghurt. Secure storage for bicycles too so ideal for cyclists

The manager was extremely condescending.
The manager was extremely condescending. He acted as if he was doing me a favor by staying in his hotel. The hotel has a gate with a bell yo ring but the bell is not easily found after dark so yes I waited 30 minutes outside ringing the bell and no one opened the gate until a car and the gate opened. The manager blamed my incompetence. The manager refused to give me his name when I checked out but I could identify him by photo. Horrible experience thinking I would stay ocked out of hotel at 10 pm

We used to live in Dordrecht so it always feels like our second home. It's a lovely old own with plenty of unique shops, relaxing cafes, museums and nice walks around the canals.
It is on the main train line from Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam so it's easy to do day trips to these places.
You can also take the water ferry to Rotterdam and various other places from Dordrecht.

Surprised how unspoilt and picturesque Dordrecht was.
Surprised how unspoilt and picturesque Dordrecht was. It's not set up for tourism, though they are used to people from out of town with all the boats in the marina. Lots of cafes, and a few good places to eat. Close to Kinderdijk with the windmills. We stayed overnight on a stop over, but could of spent a couple of nights there, though probably not much longer than that.

Stayed in Dordrecht for the Dordt in stoom festival and it was wonderful and we will be back if we can ! The old town is pretty and the steam boats provided a great atmosphere in the old port. The only problem we had was that some places - like the tourist office and ticket booths - did not take either visa or mastercard - luckily we manged to get cash out but would have been in trouble over the weekend if this had not worked.
On a canal in the beautiful and lively old town and neighboring market area - Dordrecht is the oldest city in the Netherlands founded in 1008. The owners have completely renovated this old building into their private residence and two separate ensuite rooms. Pictures can be hard to judge, but our bedroom area was ~10x18 ft (3x5.3 m) with two huge windows overlooking the narrow canal, plus the spacious modern bath and large shower. Best of all was breakfast in the owners kitchen and talking with them and the other guests!
The hotel is at the intersection of the expressway. It is very convenient and quiet to get to Rotterdam. The shower and basin in our room were seriously blocked and could not use water. We went to the main station to negotiate to change the room.

A wonderful holiday rental in a beautiful city. It had everything we needed to have a relaxing vacation. The apartment was comfortable and the host was very welcoming and helpful. Wonderful location for visiting the city and traveling to other locations. It was very easy to use the water bus and trains to get locations like Gouda and Rotterdam. We highly recommend staying here and hope to visit again.
Great location in walking distance from everything with great restaurants (just be aware that parking can be an issue / expensive) and a very welcome by the host! Kees had a lot to tell and share about Dordrecht, very pleasant and personal.
The house is really beautiful and the bedroom and (shared) bathroom on the top level are designed and decorated with a lot of love and attention to detail.
The place looks good, the area is nice with lots of green and water, the staff is nice, and the price for the room is good. If you don't mind driving the location is also good, easy to go to Rotterdam and The Hague. The hostel has direct access to canals that can be used for water sports or to reach the city and other parts of the country by boat.

Nice, quiet location in the old part of Dordrecht. Plenty of room in the apartment with a large, modern bathroom. Comfortable furnishings. Has everything you need for a stay (including a toaster). We liked the view out the window of the river junction and the boats going by.
Modern hotel with all needed comforts: quick, free WLAN, working areas, water bar, spacious and modern room, desk in the room, very friendly staff, and a nice bar to relax in the evening. Very quick access to high way, but also close to the picturesque town Dordrecht.
Staff so helpful and eager for your visit to be good. One of the nicest small hotels I have stayed in. Short walk to city square, very good restaurants nearby Lovely brekfast choices. Cafe on site for light lunch and coffee, tea.
The apartment is spotless and has everything you need, plus access to the lovely garden. Well located for the bus into Dordrecht, only a couple of minutes walk to the bus stop, or 10 minutes walk to the local train station.

I've stayed at Hotel Dordrecht many times. This is the 1st time I have stayed in a single room and, to be honest, it was probably the worst room I have ever stayed in.
The place is value for your vacation. If you have rent a car, this is also recommended for your business trip, because hotel in the central of city is very expensive.
I recommend Villa Augustus to everyone. The room is quite big and with a nice decoration. It is quiet, and the bed, mattress and pillows are very comfortable.
