It's a very nice and cozy place, especially for nature photographers - you can shoot the birds even from your bed! :) Nice bar with local beers, and friendly and polite staff. A lot of parking space and 2-socket charger for EVs.

Hotel de Branding is located 300 meters from the beach and a 3-minute walk to De Koog's shops, restaurants and cafés. This family hotel offers spacious and bright rooms.
Super place to take a vacation . The town center has many little shops, many differnt types of resturaunts and bars. The Jumbo grocery store has a vast selection of things. The beaches are clean. A very good starting point for bicycle tours.

De Koog has a smaller town with fewer high street shops than the main centre of Texel (Den Berg) but it has enough. The advantage is that De Koog is next to the beach (the main centre of Texel isn't). In De Koog there is a good variety of quality restaurants. It is ideal for beach walks, cycling and walking in the forest.

Great little resort town, with all the amenities one would like, including bars, restaurants, a large supermarket and, of course, many places to stay at. The Italian gelato is a highlight, but nothing compares to the beautiful beaches!

De Koog is a village on the island Texel.
De Koog is a village on the island Texel. It has access to the beach, a busy village center, with shops and many restaurants, cafe's, and terraces. Discover the whole of the island by any means you like. Walking, cycling, or even by car even though you probably have to walk or bike to go places in nature where the car can't go.
Unless you just want to spend your time on terraces and beaches, which is perfectly doable on Texel.

I stayed for two nights.The breakfast was good but not good as I expected. The room was clean and have a great view to the city. In addition the location of the hotel was the best you could reach to the beach by 10 min walk.
I have ordered the birthday decoration but they only gave me two balloons and a chocolate. I embarrassed in front ofy wife. Because I wanted to surprise her which I did but other way around.
I ask for slippers which is normally free and included in the hotel but I have been charged for 2.50 euro. The room service was not good they only clean the bathroom and probably do vacuum cleanings and bearly tiding the bed. Even the towels did not changed.

It is one of the best holiday destination .lots of food options ,easy access to most of the things ,excellent beaches and very good hiking trails ...You will keep walking but you will never get tired as such is the beauty of nature around De Koog.
We had a lovely stay with our 3 children. The 2 rooms we booked were opposite each other at the end of corridor which provided close proximity as well as privacy. The location was perfect in terms of proximity to cycle rides, the beach, and restaurants and shops. The hotel was very flexible in terms of eating arrangements whilst keeping strict covid protocol. The friendly and helpful staff helped to make our stay very relaxing.
The hotel is great. Everything looks nice, the room is spacious, clean and comfortable. We had a dune view room and that is really georgeous. It is very close to the beach. The staff was always very nice and helpful. There are many facilities to use from the pool and sauna to billiard and other games. Breakfast was really good too. You can spend an amazing vacation in this place, no matter if you go outside or stay inside.
The host was amazing. She really did everything to make sure we feel welcome and taken care of. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Room was not big, but for us with a little child sufficient with a nice terrace. We really enjoyed our 3 days at the island. We liked the fact that the hotel was within walking distance from the main street - yet at the same time not where everybody else is.
We were very welcomed to the hotel.... The staff was exstremely helpful in assisting us, providing useful information about hiking and sightseeing in Texel. We also really enjoyed breakfast in the hotel, with its nice variety and fresh food. The rooms themselves including the suites are simple, yet clean and spacious.
Great location near the center of De Koog and the beach. The beds are comfortable. There is a parking place behind the apartments. Also the supermarkets are very close by. The hostess was very kind, check-in and check-out was very quick and easy in hotel Zeerust, opposite of the apartments.
Everything was perfect. The Hotel management was friendly and attentive. They accommodated our wishes with a smile. The breakfast was very nice, with fresh eggs cooked to order. The room was always cleaned well. The location was perfect. We will return to this lovely place.
This is a wonderful island for a long weekend with the very best beaches in the world and the easiest ever connected cycle paths and great electric bikes for hire. Hotel is in ideal position. Staff are the best and breakfast overlooking the lagoon not to be missed.

I liked the surrounding area, it’s quiet and close to the city of De Koog. Hotel is renewed inside and rooms are spacious, beds are great. We took a room with a terrace, which was also nice.

It's a nice, super dog friendly hotel with friendly personnel and good breakfast. We were lucky to be able to use an in-room sauna upgrade, which was fantastic.
