Absolutely superb design and memorabilia from the old days when nuns were still living there. Breakfast room with stained glass, nun’s name on each room, photos from the past presenting nuns at the front of the same entrance door you’re walking through- that’s something to remember. Apart from that - very comfortable room with armchairs, huge bed and enormous bathroom. And WiFi was good. Breakfast was very fresh and tasty

The staff were very helpful. They facilitate our needs at any time. We could not find soap and shampoo in the hut. Oof the owner/manager delivered them to us at night around 10PM. We appreciated that a lot.

Pretty riverside town with everything we needed, including a choice of supermarkets and an excellent bakery. Had a great evening meal at Hof van Dalfsen on the northern edge of town.
Plenty of pleasant walks in the area and, of course, cycleways.
Recommend visiting Zwolle (20 mins by car) and, for something completely different, Batavialand at Lelystad (about 45 minutes' drive) for its excellent boatyard and replica of the Batavia.
We Stayed here for a night whilst on route to the Aseen TT. We have stayed in a lot of hotel / B&B's and this is by far one of the best we have ever stayed in. We receieved a very warm welcome. An amazing building with lots of history. Our room was perfect and very relaxing. A realy good breakfast which was served to us (very rare nowadays), that personal touch.
Its only a 2 minute walk into town, with some lovey restaurants and terraces. We will be returing to explore the area. Thank you Rene for the fantastic service.
We were warmly welcomed by the lady of the house. In general the service is okay and the food tasty.
The hotel is simple in its interior as are the rooms (bed, closet, table, coffeemaker, television set). But a good bed and a hot shower.
We had a good night sleep although the room was the first one on the hallway and many people stayed in the hotel. In general, the price we paid for the room was very much okay for a room during the summer season.
Breakfast had a great selection of items and was asked what we wanted and time we would like it..
Family who owned it was friendly and very helpful.

The location is excellent for spending relaxing time in pure Nature! Joice is an amiable and cheerful host! The place is perfect in all respects. Kids had a great time with farm animals. Jocie gave them a nice tour of the Farmhouse. The kitchen was well equipped. Thank you so much for the welcome drinks and sweets! We would love to return and recommend it 100%.
We stayed only one night but we love to stay a for night more of the area. There is much to see. But we are doing a cycling trip and so other hotels are scheduled but we were lucky with the weather and the food is outstanding. Compliments to the chef and the waitress is a lovely helpful lady. We did not do breakfast.
Marjolijn was the perfect host. She met us on arrival and checked in with us several times. Our dog loved his holiday in Dalfsen. Highly recommended.
Dalfsen is a nice little town in a delightful area and there are so many lovely places to visit within an hour.
The hotel itself is a prestigious resort situated on the bank of the Vechte river, in a quiet and pastoral place. You could reach many interesting places to visit in a half-an hour or an hour of driving.
