Historic hotel at the center of the WWII Market Garden battle area. The US 82nd Airborne experienced viscous house-to-house fighting in and around this hotel and immediate vicinity to re-gain control of this strategically situated little village on the Dutch-German border.
100+ year old property still has lots of charm.

I was pleased with all aspects. Restaurant onsite was a plus, with good breakfast. I had 2 meals from lunch menu, also very good. Professional staff. Location near train station was important to me.

We had a corner room in the hotel and I just loved it! Windows everywhere. So clean and welcoming. A big hotel but yet it feels special. And breakfast wow! It just doesn’t get better. Staff is wonderful . Ate dinner in the bar at night because we were watching the euro match and it was just so much fun. A a perfect stay.
In the lovely village of Ooij the Fletcher Hotel Restaurant De Gelderse Poort offers charming and comfortable accommodations. The hotel is the perfect place to start exploring the Gelderse Poort.

The hotel is extremely clean. Much better than some hotels with higher star ratings!
In the quiet, characteristic village of Heilig Landstichting you’ll find this simple, yet elegant hotel with its outside terrace, surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees.

Everything, room , location, restaurant ,
Breakfast all was fantastic spot. We will return !
We loved the little village! The graveyard, old churches and gorgeous individual houses... It felt like somewhere I could move into and live. The bus No 80 came regularly and dropped us in Central Station. There were restaurants either in the hotel itself or in the local Sous Les Eglises. One evening we were too late for dinner in either place so we had a lovely pizza and fries at the Snack bar. Nijmegen is a lovely city, but Beek is my favourite area.
Older style family run hotel in a great location - a short distance from the bustle of Nijmegen. The hotel is situated in a lovely old town, and we were blown away by the exclusive homes in the neighbourhood. The hotel is on a very popular route for serious cyclists who enjoy the hills in the surrounding countryside. The Restaurant is a popular spot for day cyclists and at night for locals. We had a great evening meal and comprehensive breakfast in the morning… Give this serious thought if you don’t care to be typical tourists!

extremely helpful and friendly staff. Really makes you feel welcome. Even an early breakfast bag was prepared as I was to leave early morning. Great location if you want to explore the region of beek-ubbergen. Restaurant also very good! Highly recommended.
Good location, safe storage for bikes and excellent breakfast. The hotel rooms are “ old fashioned” but are comfortable clean and have a large bathroom with great shower. Staff helpful and great atmosphere.
Very friendly staff! Our stay was very relaxing and we felt at home. The hotel had real character, so unlike impersonal, chain hotels. It felt quaint, with a lovely location in the pretty
