The room was clean, we had two single beds and would have preferred one. When the windows were open there was a load of mosquitos, maybe something could be done in front of the window. The breakfast was basic but fresh.
Hotel Buren is a cosy family hotel, only a 5-minute walk from the harbour and the lighthouse. The hotel has a very convenient location for the ferry, village centre, and nature reserve.

Upon arriving at Pension de Wadvaarder (through the back gate), you’ll enter into a cozy living room and dinning area. Gerrit & Annemieke have a great sense of style and it shows throughout the property, including the garden. The bedroom was spacious and had a small reading room with books (in Dutch). For breakfast you are provided a checklist of items to choose from which are then freshly assembled for you in the morning. The items are excellent quality, some derived from Terschelling (cheese, cranberry compote, eggs…) - lekker!
The pension is close to the village center and bus stop. Hikes on the dike, in the forrest, on the dunes, and beach are easily manageable. Of course you can also bike if you want to move around faster and farther.

Very nice, clean and big rooms. Cleaning of the rooms was done daily. The staff was very friendly and helpful, even beyond expectations (washing pants of mother in law as she had a small accident). Breakfast had so many choices you only see in the most luxurious hotels.
There is nothing much in Baaiduinen itself. But I was able to rent a bike very near (Doeksen bike rental) and that allowed me to go anywhere I wanted to go on the island. Also, of course, the bus service is very good and frequent. So one saves a lot of money by staying here. It is quiet and very comfortable. There are also groups who come to the property. I am only talking about the rooms.
