Beautiful room, beautiful warm soft lighting everywhere. Excellent location just several hundred metres from the train and very close to the main square/old town. A lovely place for a drink and to relax, and also so easy to walk from here to everything you need. Really enjoyed Zutphen and the hotel. This is a lovely hotel which was an old sanitorium and the separate buildings have been converted into large comfortable rooms with good showers. The buffet dinner was great value and very good. Sitting outside by the fountain was wonderful.
The staff were super friendly and made us very welcome. The room was comfortable if a little small. We needed a larger bathroom due to a physical impairment and the hotel were more than happy to set us a room which had what we needed.
This is a great hotel, we have stayed here three times now on various cycle tours. We wanted to make an early start because of the very hot weather, the hotel kindly arranged for us to have an early breakfast. Secure cycle storage.
Hotel is located in small village within a beautiful environment, and because of that is mainly used as basecamp for elderly-bicyclists. Great to experience the 'achterhoekse gezelligheid'.
