Very nice and friendly staff. As there were not many guests they planned to close the restaurant earlier than usual, but informed us upfront to check whether we wanted to eat there or somewhere else (where they also had some recos due to now many guests in town). Good location close to the canal. You can go everywhere by foot. Very nice town with many shops and restaurants. Nicely renovated room.

By far the worst locationa ever where we stayed and we wil not recommend it to anyone
it's theft to ask this money fort such a poor stay. All other locations where we usually come (5 places around Groede /Oostburg) ) were full as we travelled tast minute. They are palaces compared with this stay.
Owner should be ashamed of himself, for this poor rooms at this nice location with such a great potential!!
We left the hotel because of the terrible facility, my wife does not walk very well, the room had no shower of toilet and was about 40 degrees Celsius.
At night we were not able to go to the toilet because it was too faraway from our room.
The kind staff tried to find a room downstairs but there were no rooms left, they gave us a letter with appologies for the inconvenience that I will
share with you.
Every time we use Booking.com things are fine, this time it was not so we would appreciate a refund.

The setting for the hotel is very pleasant. Short walks in the woods are just across the car park. Aardenburg is walkable although we didn't in this case. The room was comfy and adequate for our one night stay. It looked out onto a large rectangle of garden with mixed flowers and vegetables - very cute. The reception staff spoke English although everything else was only in Dutch. Parking was easy in the very large car park.
Friendliness on arrival. Cosy garden, drinks on the terrace. Attention to details. Comfy bed, great rain shower. Well cooked bacon & eggs for breakfast. Crispy croissants, delicious bread & coffee. We cycled from Middelkerke to Aardenburg, this was the perfect stopover. Would strongly recommend it!
I didn't like the fact that when leaving the hotel, I noticed that I was missing the souvenirs that were bought the day before as memories. Very rude cleaning staff. I can't complain about the rest, it was fine.
