This was my first time visiting Nigeria. Ikeja was a great place to stay. Not too crowded but not too boring. The area was safe and there are things to do that are not too far. I enjoyed the Shoprite mall and frequented it a lot.

The ACs didn’t work in either room they charged me extraThen what I booked it for and then try to charge double price per room so they only charged me an extra 10,000 lol I’m from usa they are not friendly to American white people. And I paid for ac and the ac in whole plan didn’t work then they also gave me a worse room than I booked for they said they gave my room away then charged more was super hot and sucked don’t recommend not even in the worst emergency.

One thing I don’t like about hotels in Nigeria is that when you book for 2 they only want to serve breakfast for one never see that before they are cheating people and some rooms are not as described so have to be careful when booking I don’t like people that lies just to make money . Sorry to say but that is the truth and booking. Com should tell them what they are doing to customers are not good. And sometimes they cheat on booking.com by telling the people to cancel and stay less money but nothing really less. Please customers should not listen to them to cancel if you booked from booking.com

Ikeja is a central business area on the Lagos mainland. It’s more convenient for the Lagos airports (local and international). Ikeja was the place to be before everyone moved to the Island/Lekki. It it is still a good place for shopping and fun. Lots of eateries/restaurants and clubs to enjoy at. Lots of salons and spa places without Lekki prices (shhh, our secret!). Also has the fabulous Ikeja Mall and highbrow GRA district. It’s easy to move around to other places in Lagos such as Maryland and the ‘gritty’ Ogba and Agege suburbs. For my stay, I ate at Tasty Chicken outlet in Opebi and my hotel restaurant (Ibis). Walked to a really good salon on Toyin Street and had a fabulous manicure pedicure. Was also able to pick up some local foodstuff at the Ogba Retail Market. I’m still a mainland girl at heart.

The booking site and the hotel site was a $300 discrepancy. So before you book anything I would find out the correct price. I checked and double checked and was still charged $300 more than I was quoted. Be careful
The hotel staff are welcoming and very helpful in attending to our needs and requests. I was traveling and needed to leave for the airport at 1:30am, I couldn't get a cab or Uber easily but the hotel staff was helpful in getting me a taxi which means a lot to me. The hotel is generally nice with comfy room and environment. I really enjoyed my stay there and will definitely try it again and again as the need arises.
The location was central with many shops, supermarkets, restaurants and many other businesses nearby. The staff were courteous, the hotel had a security guard, the air-conditioning and fridge worked well, there was central hot water and complimentary tea, water and a kettle. Power supply was constant. There was also complimentary breakfast though because I had to leave early an ad hoc arrangement was made for me.
Presken hotel is the best hotel I've lodged in Lagos both Lagos Island and Mainland.

I stay at this hotel whenever I visit Lagos and all I can do is say that it's a must for any traveller.
The staff are wonderful, the internet is top class, the rooms are a great size, the bed is super comfortable, the hotel is generally clean, the room service food is good. The location is excellent, of which it's 10 mins from the airport and also very easy to get to other parts of Lagos.
The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The food for lunch and dinner were scrumptious. Had to personally meet the cook. She loves her craft. Anything that was amiss was rectified promptly. Power was on around the clock. It was in a prime location, close to any and everything. Ten minute drive from the airport. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay and will come again.

It was so sad that I arrived the hotel and I was told I had no reservation that their deluxe room was fully booked . I had travelled all the way from Abuja to Lagos only to get to the hotel and I was stranded.
The hotel is exceptionally clean, every staff is so friendly and supportive including the security guys, Jane and blessing are so polite and friendly, Food is top notch and the room is so clean and ambient
The reservation staff claimed I was upgraded to superior room being my first time and that I was also offered breakfast which I was also told was not included in the cost for reservation.
