Rain Forest Inn, hotel in Ringlet

Rain Forest Inn is located in Bertam Valley amidst the lush rainforest and cascading waterfalls. It offers locally handcrafted rooms from which views of the surrounding nature can be enjoyed.

I had a stressful week at work and looking for a last minute get away. We were lucky to find this gem owned by Osman and his family. and managed by Mr Gee Tatt. The inn is tucked away into the unknown at Ringlet a town in Cameron Highlands. Mr Gee Tatt, En Osman, his son En Muin, and all of his family were very friendly and accomodating. My family and I enjoyed our time here. We got to experience orang Asli living, tried the sumpit and learned about traps. We will definately come again with the rest of our clan. Next trip we will go hiking.

The Lakehouse Cameron Highlands, hotel in Ringlet

A charming country house inspired by English heritage, The Lakehouse features wooden ceiling beams and four-poster beds. Sitting on a hill in Cameron Highlands, the hotel offers guided jungle treks.

An extraordinary place. In my opinion, Cameron highlands towns are not the place where you can see something interesting. Therefore, the fact that this hotel is far from them is not at all its disadvantage. True, the lake is not very beautiful and is not a suitable place for sightseeing or walks, but the overall view from the hotel is impressive. There is a jungle trail right next to the hotel. This was the most challenging jungle trail of our trip. Just 1.5 km, any experience. I do not recommend it to anyone with mobility issues and it is better not to go with children. If you like adventure - definitely go. We were upgraded to the Foster Suite - it was wow, wow, wow. But you have to climb the up to the hill. We tried the hotel's steam boat for dinner - we really liked it. Breakfast was also good and varied.

Heritage Hotel Cameron Highlands, hotel in Ringlet

Located 1,500 metres above sea level, Heritage Hotel Cameron Highlands is a Tudor-style boutique hotel situated on a hill surrounded by the vista of Tanah Rata.

I dont give much expectation knowing it is an old hotel but i was quite impressed. The hotel is situated at a very strategic area, near to pasar malam & other eateries/attractions. The room that was assigned to me was very good & clean even though the furnitures were quite old. The hotel staffs were very polite & attentive. They also provided a lot of parking lots. Most of all i love the sceneries nearby the hotel

The different areas of Ringlet are very interesting to visit however the traffic is a problem in the little towns. Not easy to cross the roads on a busy day. Plenty of eateries to choose from and different types of food. A fair number of atttactions including tea plantations and museums. The roads are extremely winding.

I have never chosen to stat in Ringlet prior to this.

I have never chosen to stat in Ringlet prior to this. Always either in Tanah Rata or Brinchang. But this time I did - purely because that is where the hotel - The Lakehouse - is located, So I stayed in Ringlet because of the hotel. Each part of the Highlands has different attraction and Ringlet is no exception. To me it is of course The Lakehouse. I would be happier if the Sultan Aby Bakar lake in front of the hotel is not almost covered over with vegetation - there is something magical with a lake fully visible.!
