A lot of unhealthy environments can be dangerous to tenants. After a heavy downpour, corridors are flooded with water and no attempt to sweep the water away, and it's slippery, and a fall can bring disaster. Two days stay, rooms service not available including filling up of soap.

Pantai Cenang is a nice beach, but the beach to the south is dreadful. Having said that, nothing is open (in April) along the beach. There are a handful of rented chairs and umberellas but no real beach service, such as in Patong and the like. Not a lot to look at... Being a Muslim country, you cannot be served a cocktail on the beach. Go outside Malaysia for that. The people are wonderful and the food great, but it is not set up for western tastes. This time of year (Ramadan) most places are closed and it is like a ghost town.

It's a local area on the beach with many eateries and shops, you can get a more expensive or cheaper massage, not to mention they have a very good wine shop that provides some reasonable wines at a fair price.
There is a variety of food close by or you can find some more expensive dining at Hotels around the place, but the local food was very good.
The question would l go back, the answer is Yes, we have already booked our next trip to the same hotel, wonderful experience and very relaxing holiday

After talking to the reception that it is impossible to sleep until 3 am, we were offered the same room but in another chalet...

Attractions of Langkawi are covered in a few days. Beaches near hotel (southwest) are OK during high tide, but water appears dirty in shallow areas at low tide. Not inviting for swimming and plenty of jelly fish in the sea. Perhaps beaches in north near luxury resorts are better, but did not experience.
Food in hotel and surrounding area disappointing and very touristy. Overall not very expensive but low quality. Well suited perhaps for budget travelers.Transportation (taxi) very affordable.

The best area to stay on the island if you are looking for nice beaches with a lively atmosphere. We always feel safe in this area. Yellow cafe is a great spot to watch the sunset and also has nice food. The Cliff restaurant has a good happy hour during sunset hours and would highly recommend a visit here.
Clean facilities, friendly host and best location in Langkawi. Best part would probably be the direct access to Pantai Tengah. Away from the Pantai Cenang crowd but still within walking distance to many other restaurants/bars.
They also sell drinks in the lobby if you’re lazy to buy outside although slightly expensive but understandable.
I love the commune kitchen area, it gives just the right amount of privacy. Thank you Miki and team for your warm welcome and great hospitality. Will definitely come again.
Where do i start... The staff is great, lovley people! You can book every tour or transfer at the desk. They love to help you. I stayed in the room with own bed, shower and aircon. I booked 7 nights and 4 nights more at the hotel! The area is very near to restaurants, laundry shop and the beach. They have a own bar, go there and you will meet so many friendly peoples! They also have a barber shop. :). The Wifi works good! I will come back in the future for sure! These peoples gave me a great time in Langkawi!
Omg I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! They are so friendly and kind, we had a horrid experience in another hotel in Langkawi and Cloud9 was so friendly and lovely! We didn’t even realize we had arrived earlier than the checkin time but they quickly cleaned up our room and made us feel welcome. The staff is so nice and easy to work with, there’s lovely views and it feels like you’re living in nature. Exceptional! I will definitely visit here if I do come again
The resort is well located in Pantai Cenang near the beach and there were shops along the roadside. It was easy to access Grab ride-sharing to get to other parts to Langkawi.
Housekeeping and room service was always fast, and the pizzas were pretty good.
Had a good time lounging by the pool - very clean despite the numerous trees around. Please note that you have to pay additional fees to access the infinity pool which we did not.
I really like this hotel. I stayed in a family room with two friends. We spent 4 days in Langkawi, and for almost 2 and a half days, it was raining, so we stayed in the hotel to rest. We also enjoyed having drinks and chatting at the small table outside our room in the evenings. If you're looking for a relaxing trip, you can consider choosing this hotel. The hotel owner and the bar owner are both very friendly.
The resort is near to the airport, which is pretty convenient so you might not need to rush when you are going to depart from Langkawi. They have a pool outdoors that operates from 8am to 7:30pm. You may have a sea view outside of the balcony, unfortunately for me, I only get a garden view from my balcony during my stay. The surroundings of the resort are quiet, making it a great place to relax and rest.
The room size was good, and the bathroom was nice. The beds were very comfortable. The view was nice to look at. Breakfast has a good selection of options. The pool is standard, with a nice view. The food from the restaurant was good and well priced. The location for us was convenient for the airport and Telaga port. It is only a short car ride to other areas of langkawi.

The beach in the hotel area is well maintained and very clean. Staff are all very friendly and efficient. Overall, a splendid experience at the hotel and will stay there again every time we visit Langkawi. Worth the money.
The staff were amazing here and the location was really close to the main street. We just rented a motorbike from them so that we can easily get to other areas in Langkawi. It's around a 5 minutes walk from the main Pantai Cenang beach. There was a water filter machine in the common area so you can keep refilling your water bottle instead of having to buy new ones.

Big greetings and thanks to chef who did my stay more comfortable and excite. Resort is very close to the airport and so no rush and traffic is normally smooth in Langkawi! A fantastic hotel that has everything you need! The rooftop pool and jacuzzi are definitely a highlight. The rooms are spacious and clean. It is conveniently located close to the beach, nearby restaurants but far enough away that it is quiet.This was my second visit and will always be my top choice of hotel in Langkawi.
This hotel is truly unique. The location on a private island, surrounded by trees and nature is perfect for relaxing during holidays and doesn’t give you the impression of being in a crowded tourist area. The complimentary boat transfers to Langkawi are also a big convenience. The staff is super helpful and friendly.
We return to Wings hotel because of its convenience and pool vibe as if we are still in Koh Lipe. We had a wonderful dinner in the hotel and stayed back after checkout until 6pm for our connect flight. Best choice in Langkawi.
