Would ABSOLUTELY recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Oaxaca. The staff went above and beyond to provide amazing service, for example we were working remotely one day during our stay and they accomodated a small conference room for us to work all day and serve us breakfast there! There are also so many nice details including free water/drinks throughout the stay as well as a few surprises. They also helped organize our transportation and were available for questions/recommendations all day! The hotel itself is beautiful with lots of details, and has a great location - walking distance to everything you want to see in Oaxaca! The rooms are nicely furnished with local art/furniture, have AC, and the bed and pillows were super comfortable. Overall loved our stay and will definitely be back!

We stayed at Hotel Posada San Rafael for two nights and then again for three after having visited another town for a few days. We really enjoyed it. The bed was comfortable and both room and en-suite shower room were very clean. There were fans to help cool the rooms. Outside we had use of a fridge and the courtyard which was pretty. The owners and staff were so friendly and even checked us in at 1.30 in the morning when our bus arrived back. At departure the owner very kindly took us to the airport. The hotel is a five minute walk from the ADO bus station and in a nice and quiet part of town. There are bakeries, shops and restaurants nearby and the centre of Oaxaca is only a 15 minutes walk away. We would love to come back!

We stayed here are we add an extra night in Oaxaca and we wanted to stay somewhere with a pool. The room was very comfortable with two big double beds and you can walk into town. It’s also very close to the ADO terminal if you have a trip out of Oaxaca.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here ! The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was great, the room incredibly clean - it wasn’t huge but was adequate for us. There were plenty of outdoor spaces to enjoy peace and quiet.

Very nice and clean place with a good value for money and a very kind receptionist. They offer laundry services which was great after so much travelling. The location was good not so far from the Central streets with all restaurants and shops.

The place is simply beautiful. The presence of a lift was very welcome. The staff was the nicest, cared very much about safety, and explained very well about the history of the location.
