Fantastic location, great team. Relaxed atmosphere and very welcoming. Thavva restaurant was superb, we paid for special meal in water Villa restaurant, it was very much worth the extra for a special occasion. Our best experience was swimming with turtles and mantas, quite an expensive excursion but worth every penny to have a 1-4 guide take you snorkeling. Loved the holiday and would highly recommend the hotel.

Reethi Faru Resort is a brand new resort, and is situated in Raa Atoll, north-west of Malé on the tiny island of Filaidhoo with a beautiful house reef just 80 meters from shore.

Wow what a great holiday. We have travelled the world and still cannot beat the Maldives. At Reefi Faru the attitude of the staff really made the holiday experience special. Special thanks to the barmen Janaka and Sadeep, all the waiters in the main restaurant such as Shareef and Nazeem and our amazing the room cleaner. What amazing staff. The place is amazing too. See pics. The food is out of this world, with the chefs working tirelessly and invisibly in the background to produce exciting food every day with international themes.

The whole experience of our stay was excellent. The stay was coordinated by our butler Arka who was always available and making the best of our vacation. We have for the full 100 % enjoyed our stay. In the restaurant Baani we have had a friendly, exceptional, thoughtful service from Hamdoon who really enriched our stay and made us feel very welcome. Also, Nirman (Baani) and AJ (Ambulla) offered us a great and friendly service. The quality of the food was exquisite in the Baani restaurant as well as the Ambulla restaurant, where the team offered a high quality food and service. The spa was very well and the massages were excellent. The Ocean Suite we stayed in did have all the possibilities for an exquisite stay with a great view to the sunset every evening which created a spectacular experience at almost every evening. The pool was great and also the service of the team who did service the villa's was great, and they did good care of us. The house interior offered everything needed for a great stay. The island is beautiful and looks very nice and well taken care of. The gym was clean and had a state-of-the-art equipment and also enough, so there was no waiting time and enough possibilities to do the exercises.

The overall stay was absolutely wonderful with exceptional service. We were well treated by the representatives of the resort right from the airport, throughout our vacation until we took off. The Sea plane journey was a new experience and we loved it. Mr. Bharat received us with a warm welcome to the resort. We had a personal butler, Mr. Niyaz who gave us a wonderful service. We really loved the ambiance, and the privacy that water villas provided. We enjoyed snorkeling too. Every country follows different cultures and different cuisines. Most of the countries have their own culture, food, style and they like to follow it that way only. Must be keeping this in mind the resort has a variety if cuisines which was delectable. Staffs in all the restaurants were very polite and always ready to serve. Ms. DeviRani, incharge of Indian Cuisine (Sufuraa Restaurant) was very friendly and sweet. Coming to drinks, there were all types of drinks(Alcoholic/Non-Alcoholic). We even got a chance to make our own cocktail. Halaboli bar(bar with the pool) had daily night DJs which should not be missed. There were lot of water activities we could try with additional charges. Also we had a complementary 30 mts spa which was so relaxing. Coming to beach, the water was very clear and there are no words to describe its beauty. The turquoise color of the calm water was so addictive and we could just spend hours in it. We did snorkeling twice a day. We were even lucky to see a sting ray, which the resort staff said is not a common spot. The swing located a little inside the beach was a real beauty to watch. And near the shore we could spot small shark and school of fish. Without thinking twice, I can say this with confidence that it is definitely worth a visit. They do not provide food after 10 which was a little inconvenient. But we get drinks anytime.

We stayed at a nice, clean, recently renovated deluxe beach villa (140-closest to the beach). The staff was really kind and helpful everywhere in the resort. The food was delicious, especially in Sufuraa indian restaurant and in Thavaa mediterranean restaurant (you just have to book tables way in advance in Thavaa). Coffee is the best in the main bar (Halaboli). We had a dolphin watching and sunset cruise included, both were great experiences. We also tried scuba diving for the first time, it was quite an expensive session for a less than 2 hours program. If you would like to book a sandbank tour, book it upon your arrival, they fill up easily, we missed our slot. Snorkelling is great especially on the Eastern side (around Albino bar) and Northern side. We could rent underwater camera at the diving center, it was worth it. We could not do SUP during our entire stay because of the wind and sometimes too shallow water, it is a pity, but understandable. Sunsrises are beautiful from around Albino bar, worth waking up for. Do not miss the beautiful garden in the center of the island, around the honeymoon villa, great for a morning yoga. Worth taking 5-10 USD bills for tipping.

I say go, the report was amazing, just understand the seaplane cost and that you may have to loose time waiting for it on arrival and departure. Overall it was exactly the holiday i needed and would go back if it was not for the seaplane.

We last visited Meedhuparru 18 years ago.

We last visited Meedhuparru 18 years ago. It was then and still is a beautiful Island with excellent food and facilities, but, things seem to have changed a little. The resort seems a lot bigger and a lot of the guests seemed to spend all day and night getting drunk and being loud and annoying, something that didn't seem to happen 18 years ago. We did manage to find quiet areas but spent most of our time, when weather permitted, outside our room where the sandy area was dirty and neglected, a pity really, when our memory was of pure white soft sand, from the room to the waters edge.
