Very sparse apartments with personal pool and lovely terrace. All necessary facilities are in place. Easy parking in a covered garage, security at the entrance. The cleaning was done every day except Sunday. Very friendly personnel.
The location is good. The supermarket and the beach could be reached in 2-4 minutes (however, the street is a bit busy and not very secure for pedestrians).

The location is just 2 minutes walk from Pereyebere public beach, although I found a much better beach called La Cuvette (20 mins walk away)

Not the best part of the Island for a family holiday - if you are looking for the best beach area head for the South West. Perebere is an excellent location for SCUBA Diving. Loads of Dive Centers and loads of nice Dive Sites. You definately need a hire car if you are going to base yourself here.

Pereybere is a great tourist area and has one of the nicest beaches but it tends to get crowded. Also what is unappealing are the stray dogs. I think Mauritius needs to find a solution for stray dogs. Lots of halal food options in the area and nearby

Overall Pereybere is an excellent place to stay. We found the lush green trees and grass and the sandy beaches a wonderful place for walking strolling and even on the evening. It was just a cool warm air that was nice to walk.
The local people were friendly and public transport you can get around Pereybere and enjoy the different restaurants with the different foods. It was lovely and amazing place to stay the apartment in which we stayed in was lovely and the beach being around the corner was an excellent choice that we made great place lovely food lovely people . Amazing!
I would recommend that you try the seeing the dolphins and the buggy rides as well as visit in the other islands by boat.

North West coat of Mauritius is the best for climate East coast not as beautiful and sustains wind and beaches are not as good as NW coast - if you get a car - avoid Port Louis driving - a nightmare - bus driverers are the worst on the road but cheap - be careful driving - bikes at night - no lights and undertake you - idiots wearing flip flops on bikes -

Pereybere is great if you are a beach person but does not have enough restaurants & bars in terms of variety and some are really overpriced, for example WANG THAI restaurant - also very snobbish staff ...
Thankfully, Grand Bay isn't too difficult to get to during the day/evening and that gave us more choice.

A quaint little place with limited amenities in close walking distance. Paddling and canoeing can be arranged at the public beach and several food trucks are available with a different selection of local foods.
There are several diving centre agencies along the main road to chose from.
We found a supermarket called ‘Winners’ approximately 250m from the public beach which was well stocked, with friendly and helpful staff. We popped in several times during our stay. Fresh baguettes and finely shaved ham were our favourite.
It was a self catering apartment so we did our own breakfast.
Ate out in restaurants most evenings but had takeaways now and again.
At least some restaurants and bars in Pereybere and Grand Bay accepted AMEX and other cards.
Property was right opposite Pereybere public beach and next door to a restaurant.
The supermarket WINNERS was about a 5 minute walk away and we used it almost every day.
It was very convenient for buses (stop opposite/nearby) in both directions and a taxi stand was just 2 minutes away.
Brand new apartment building, feels like at home. Big spacious rooms, huge balcony with nice view. Swimming pool was long and water was warm. The area was full of palms and green flowers. Sitting on balcony and listening birds was my daily routine. Parking place and secured area with guard. Ki residence is on side road with dead end, so no noice from cars. Situated just 10mins walking to Pereybere beach. Just 5minutes to Bloom restaurant which was really nice.
Staying at Chez Nous was truly a wonderful experience a home from home. Joyce and Alias and the boys were brilliant hosts beyond our expectations. Not only did we have a homely experience , we forsure had the best meals ever...Joyce is beyond marvellous...i do not think i have had such delicious food ...the taste so unique. And of course we also were entertained, and saw a Mauritius we have not seen before. Top marks from me.
We absolutely loved our stay at the Blue Bird. It felt like the perfect hidden little spot yet walking distance to Pereybere beach, a modern cafe, a rooftop bar, supermarket, and bus stop. We loved watching the beautiful birds on the balcony at breakfast. The staff are very warm and friendly and they do a great job making you feel very welcome and keeping the rooms and grounds cared for every day.We really hope to stay again!

The kitchen is very well equipped, the pool size is ideal and the tv has numerous channels to satisfy everyone!

The room was spacious, clean and quite modern. The pool area was small but very nice. Many choices at breakfast. Welcoming and helpful staff. Beach was just across the street. Bus stop right next to the hotel and a supermarket 5min by foot. Airport transfer was reasonable priced. Free water in the room and towels for the beach.
