Breakfast exceeded our expectations.
At first we were sceptical because there is no buffet and you have to order food from the menu, but the hosts convinced us and served us one of the most delicious breakfasts. Coffee and juice are free during breakfast.
At 900 metres above sea level, Hotel Sumski Feneri (“Forest Lanterns”) is quietly situated in a forest at the foot of Pelister National Park.

Bitola is a lovely and lively city!
Bitola is a lovely and lively city! It has a handful of really interesting sites (esp. archaeological site is a must) and the atmosphere is beautiful. Shirok sokak (the main street) and the central park are a magnet to simply walk and watch people pass by.
There are some hills nearby if you want to have a great view or have nice walks around too.

We stopped here for a day on our road trip through Macedonia. We were very happy we did. It takes about half a day to see all the main attractions, however, having lunch or coffee or just a stroll through sirok sokak is highly recommended to catch the city vibe. it’s very different to either ohrid or skopje. a very manageable and interesting town.

A small city that offers everything a traveller would ask...
A small city that offers everything a traveller would ask for. Culture, gastronomy, sights, walks. Museums, churches (St Dimitrios), mosques and the archeological site of Heraklea to visit, exhibitions (The small Monmarte of Bitola) and fesivals, great dishes to taste, a whole national park (Pelister) to walk in at a very near disance, great accomodation, nice shops,, reasonable prices, easy parking.

Bitola is an amazing old town.
Bitola is an amazing old town. There are many things to see and do. Best of all it can be a relaxing town have a coffee here and there, shop and enjoy the sights. Located in great time to surrounding city’s. Bitola has withstood the hand of time and it is prominent that it is an old town. If you go with an open mind and heart for old school travel Bitola has it all.
Excellent location for walking to Sirok Sokak, the long pedestrian mall, and restaurants and supermarket.
We had a very nice big room (opted to pay a little extra for a more triple room when we booked).
We had a fridge, kettle and mugs, so enjoyed being able to make our morning coffee.
Tony and his helper Steve were very friendly hosts.
Besides being on Shirok Sokok, which is the street to be on in Bitola, the host Nickolas, was superb. It is purely a family run business with excellent attention to detail. Really excellent value for money. We would highly recommend and will definitely stay at the Robevski if we visit Macedonia again
This was the highest quality accommodation in our entire ten day trip to Macedonia. The hostess was very nice and friendly. The apartments are very nice: clean, stylish, beautiful, everything you need is there! It was a pleasure to be there!
