We enjoyed pretty much the stay. Ismail was very friendly at the reception and Wisam helped us a lot during the dinner and breakfast times. It was amazing that the hotel had its F&B facilities open during the Eid Al-Adha since nothing was open for us to eat out of the hotel. Breakfast was fantastic as well as the hotel location - it's exactly 5 min walking from the train station (Rabat Ville) and tram station. Excellent shower system.

Rabat is very impressive, so clean and welcoming. We stayed in the medina which was a very different experience compared to Marrakech. It was quieter in the evening, calmer and still great to shop. Definitely more locals and great stalls, friendly services. Our sightseeing was great even if our time was limited, the gardens and parks were immaculately looked after. The mixture of old and new, the ocean and old city and ancient history makes it a very great place to visit.
Just be aware however that dining in the medina ends early and it is probably best to head downtown if you want to find a restaurant later at night.

Rabat is the capital of Morocco.
Rabat is the capital of Morocco. The streets and Medina of Rabat are much wider and cleaner. The Kasbah is not so clean but still a good place to visit. One night / 2 days in Rabat is good enough time to see everything around.

Rabat is interesting for a day.
Rabat is interesting for a day. The main sight is the Kasbah which is free to enter. You DO NOT need a guide and it IS NOT about to close, despite what all the touts try to tell you. Walking around the medina is interesting and safe.

Not a fan of Rabat, it was cleaner than the other cities we visited but there was not much to do other than the Medina and the tourist places to visit. I enjoyed Marrakech and Fez. If I go back to Morocco I would skip Rabat.

Is small city , specifically the medina is the best part, just like you are back in old time, the narrow street and people live their is the same as in Pakistan culture old city Lahore they have the same style of old houses, but Rabat is quite and small ,Lahore is 2 nhs largest city of Pakistan , population of nearly 170 million , they also preserved the old city just like medina in rabat

I would recommend Rabat. It is a very modern city.
I would recommend Rabat. It is a very modern city.
The city is extraordinarily clean and very safe.
Every person we met was kind, funny and charismatic.
The medina is the highlight and absolutely incredible.
Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum are great as well.
Walking along the "river" is recommended as well, as there are some restaurants to eat something sweet and enjoying the view.
Rabat isn't a typical capital. Rabat only has 500'000 inhabitants and it shows. Therefore, it's a rather quiet town, restaurants close early and there aren't too many.
I would recommend maximum a week, maybe less.
Taxis are very professional and can be used for transport. Cheap and without scammers.
If you are in Rabat, you have to visit Dar Naji. If you didn't eat there during your stay, you weren't in Rabat.
Walid and the whole stuff where extremely accommodating. we have been traveling in Morocco for about a week at the time we reached Rabat and stayed at this Riad and I have to say this has been my favorite stay. perfect location, right in the middle of Medina not too far from busy roads where you can hail a cab. great breakfast: Walid and the rest of the stuff would have breakfast made ready at your most convenient time. clean (and spacious!!) rooms. quite surroundings. great support provided for every request we raised. highly recommend
Great place to stay (less than 5 minutes walk from the Kasbah of the Udayas and less than 10 minutes to get to the Mohammed V avenue). The room was spacious and clean, the bed was great and the bathroom as well. Wifi was working really good! Hamza gave me information on how to get to the airport because I was leaving Morocco the day after my stay and he also allowed me to store luggage in the Riad for many hours after check out..! Overall it was a great value for money choice in Rabat.
So far the best hotel I stayed in whilist in Morocco. Using light colour concept through out the hotel gave it space and tranquility. Highly trained and motivated staff. Parking valet available. Adjacent to Rabat central Mall gave property high value.
Special thanks goes to the night shift staff at reception for arranging a stay on the spot for my daughter and son in law. This is highly appreciated. I hope such high standards in customer satisfaction are well kept and maintained.
Dar Shaeir exceeded our expectations! The riad is stunning and beautifully renovated. Our room was huge and very tastefully decorated with all the amenities and more for a very comfortable stay.
Siham and her team are absolutely wonderful and took excellent care of us. If you get the chance ask Halima to prepare a couscous which was one of the best we have ever eaten during our many travels in Morocco. We can highly recommend this accommodation for your stay in Rabat!
It's a place in middle of medina where you can feel the spirit of Marocco. Saad who was my host was truly helpful with everything I needed. He can speak well english and he takes care of guests as much as possible. I recommend this place especially for adventure seekers who are not afraid of cultural differences and all those who are not coming there for relax in the 5* hotels swimming pool, but to see real world.
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful property. It was easy to find and very pretty inside. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, assisting us in arranging a taxi to the train station on our departure day. Breakfast was tasty and available at any time of our choosing. I’d definitely recommend this as a great home base for exploring Rabat, an under-appreciated gem of a city in Morocco.
Possibly one of the top views in all of Rabat - from the rooftop my surfer husband could check the waves without leaving the property. (And then run down to the beach if the swell was pumping.) Classic, historic hotel with plenty of in-room amenities (AC, TV, refrigerator, kettle) and wonderful staff. The breakfast is also insane - insanely good with a mix of Moroccan and European favorites.
Great location. Inside Medina close to everything. Staff are friendly and provided information on what to see in Rabat. We tried a couple of restaurants outside the Medina and were disappointed. The best places to eat were all inside the Medina. Walking distance to all the main sights and beaches. Be sure to take the water taxi over to Sale. Fun
This was one of the most spectular hotels we ever stayed at. The hotel decor is gorgeous, the staff is kind and helpful, the beds were wonderful. The location is excellent for Rabat/Sale next to the Marina with an amazing view of the Sea and the River. The rooftop lounge and pool were exceptional. I would stay again!
Wonderful place to stay in Rabat. In the heart of the Medina, just off one of the main streets. Despite this the room was very quiet and private. I visited in February and it was pretty cool at night, but there were plenty of blankets to keep me warm at night and the bed was very comfortable.
The landlord explained to me every information I wanted to know in English. Thanks to him! He was the first man I met in Rabat who could speak a language that I can understand! lol, the hotel was clean and comfortable, you can't find a better one at this price
Everybody was really nice and helpful, breakfast was really yummy, location is in the city center, really close to the oriental markets, the hotel is brand new, great view over Rabat, the room has a window and everything you need to feel like home.
The room was really clean, the bed was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is located in the heart of Rabat and you can walk to the nearby old Medina. Overall it was a good stay.
The place is so greate ❤️ and the owner and the staff are just the best! The most wonderful hotel I have visited in all Morocco! Will be back for sure!! I really recomend it :) :)
