We loved that staff understood and could speak English, which is not very common in Morocco. The breakfast buffet offers a great choice and there is an excellent 24 hours room service. They have lovely outside area with pool and a Spa area with heated pool. They also have a great roof top bar with DJ.

Marrakech is an amazing city composed of the old city...
Marrakech is an amazing city composed of the old city surrounded by the newer section. In the centre are the shops, museums, restaurants etc. No cars are allowed though there were motorcycles threading their way through pedestrians, which I found very annoying. There are loads of shops selling anything from spices to tourist tat. Most of the shops are in covered walkways so not too hot. There is very little hassling from the shop keepers. Many say hi but leave you alone. It is nothing like Egypt where you are continually hassled.
In the new part of the city are mostly modern hotels.
Be aware of the airport. It is really modern but with enormous queues. For departure, get to the airport at least 3 hours early as there are multiple queues. We queued up to show passport, papers etc about 6 times!

Outstanding City.
Outstanding City. Rich culture, history, colour and yet within the busy city oases of tranquility such as Le Jardin Secret.
Other areas to visit include a guided tour of the medina, le Jardin Majorelle and if time permits an individual tour and walk in the Atlas Mountains.

Pretty city, lots to see - great museums, lovely tropical gardens, fascinating markets ( medina) but way too many tourists (like us so can't complain!). All walkable from most hotels. Good base for exploring Atlas mountains, Essuaria well worth a visit - beautful Porturgese style town on the coast. Sahara a bit far for one day trip, ideally 3 days to see it properly, but worth it.
Food good but not much variety in menus. Not much English spoken, but most locals speak French. Dont bring money (dirham) back to UK. Its illegal and no-one will change it here.

Marrakesh is very colourful and pretty Worth staying in medina as you will be based in the centre and can walk to the main attraction's like Jemaa el-Fnaa,
Jardin Majorelle, Ben Youssef Mosque and el Badi palace Also they have have some lovely Rooftop restaurants like Dardar which would need booking a week in advance and we also visited The moorish kitchen and coffee very close to the jardin gardens had some really good food too and LAdresse restaurant in Jemaa el fnaa square had really good traditional food too
We also booked excursion to Atlas mountain and Berber village Ouzoud Waterfall and Agafay Dessert
Ouzoud is beautiful and worth the boat ride too I would book the excursions with the locals as it works out cheaper There are plenty of travel agency’s there Again you need to bargain The boat ride etc you can book it at ouzoud itself as it works out a lot cheaper

My trip to Marrakech was incredible, filled with vibrant...
My trip to Marrakech was incredible, filled with vibrant colors, beautiful aromas, rich culture, and unforgettable experiences. From exploring the bustling souks and historic palaces to relaxing in a beautiful riad with outstanding hospitality, every moment was a delightful adventure.
Just be prepared to haggle with market holders and taxis!
Be prepared to pay to take photographs of locals and market stalls. The inner walls of the city were perfectly safe to even walk as a lone female. when the sun is hot you can escape the heat by visting the gardens. Be prepared to wear modest clothing to avoid any unwanted attention. Lots of places to eat, we used trip advisor to choose where to eat. Everything is charged by the local currency and the euro. Take a half day guide to orientate yourself before you get totally lost! Lots of suppliers offering trips and adventures, we did the hot balloon trip which was great and travelled to the biggest waterfall in Morocco which was great, take a guide to get the best experience.
Beware that if folk want to show you how things are made it always results in a soft sell, but they are not offended if you say no. Avoid the ladies who offer henna for your hands and keep your hands in your pockets clarly away from them or else a single spot of henna will cost you a fortune.
The streets are full of colours and smells for all your senses, lots of cafes and resturants. We did'nt use any public toilets so I can not comment on them. The ceramics, leather are to die for!
The pool is nice , quite big and never too crowded. The hotel is a short taxi ride away from the main square. The pool bar has a ok selection of drinks for example coffee, alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Staff were nice and helpful. AC works fine and keeps the room cool even when the outdoor temps reached +36C ( 97F). Food selection was good. With all inclusive you get breakfast, lunch, and dinner it was nice to get bottled water to the room.
We booked an old town whole day tour trough the hotel, which was so worth it.
This property should be rated 4 star for its excellent staff, service and amenities. I LOVED everything about the property. The conscience when I was feeling lazy to walk down stairs and have a 5 star meal was awesome. I loved that it was centrally located to a shopping area, the overwhelming choice of places to eat that’s only a 5 min walk. The entire staff spoiled me my entire time. I extended my stay twice. I left and checked into another hotel for two days in another area of the city, but ended back at a Le Caspien.
without doubt the most breathtakingly beautiful hotel I’ve ever stayed. all of the facilities are 5 star. we booked the most basic room and even that was just pure luxury so I imagine the other rooms are even more amazing. the pool area is incredible, the pictures don’t do it justice. the staff were all so attentive and nothing was a problem. we loved it so much, just wish we could have stayed for longer! the area where the hotel in is so peaceful and quiet, with just the sound of bird song and cicadas. bliss.
First impressions were good, it’s advertised as a 5 star international hotel ,I would rate it a morrocan 3star hotel .the coffee table was dirty the net curtain filthy and ripped birds nesting in light on balcony messing on floor, fan in the bathroom didn’t work only one cup no glasses the three piece sweat was crap only one coffee per day, breakfast 7:00 to 1030 at 8:30 no cups no glasses no fresh orange food run out no bread fit toast tables not reset no tea spoons
A beautiful property right in the heart of the Marrakech medina. The decor is exceptional and the interior design totally unique.
Each and every member of staff went out of their way to look after you, the service is the best we have experienced in any 5 star hotel that we have stayed.
We had a truly wonderful experience.
Finally we would thank the owner Steve, who is a true warm, genuine and entertaining character, who is the heart of the riad.
This was my best experience during my Morocco trip! I stayed here 3 nights with my parents and really enjoyed the hospitality. My mum is Vegan and they made sure she had a good vegan breakfast every morning. Loved the location, room size and cleanliness. Overall a great place to stay and experience warm Moroccan hospitality if you are in Marrakesh. Will definitely visit again.
There are many great hotel in Marrakech but the Movenpick"s service stands in a class of thier own.
A special thank you to Lahcen and Nezha for going beyond the expected services of a 5 star Hotel.
Management, thank you for hiring such a wonderful staff and making this vacation unforgettable at the same time making us feel like family in your hotel and country.
The manager Houssine welcomed us , showed us around. Such a warm smiling man.
We had a wonderful breakfast around the gorgeous pool. It’s only a 2 star hotel and it was better than the 4 stars Hotel we stayed in during our Morocco trip. Plenty of eateries around. Onl a 200 dhr taxi return trip to Big Square . 15 min.
Thanks Houssine
We have absolutely loved our stay at Tigmiza. From our amazing villa room which was beautiful, to all the staff working at the hotel including reception / pool staff / restaurant staff & cleaners. Everyone makes you feel welcomed & gives you a 5 star experience. Best hotel we have ever stayed in & we will definitely be back.
it was clean, a lot of options and it is truly a resort in itself. The food options were great and the staff are really friendly and welcoming. I would advise when getting a taxi walk towards the main gate on the outside (it’s cheaper) rather than getting picked up inside the hotel. The all inclusive options were great
Hotel is all inclusive ,there are great variations of food and drinks, the hotel is clean , staff at hotel is great and helpfull ,i like all the staff especially the barman Foad and the restaurant staff, also the reception staff, thanks to Ahmad he helped us with bags,
It was great experience I will Come back ,
This felt like a 5 star hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, if they saw us carrying luggage they would be strsight there to take them. The entertainment staff do an amazing job, and actually look like they enjoy their job too! The same for the lovely waiters & catering staff.
People working at the Hôtel are helpful and very friendly. This is the only 5 star experience in this hotel. However, couldn’t say the same for the checkout moment - none of the people working at the reception asked me if I enjoyed my stay at the hotel or if everything was fine.
The best staff anywhere in morocco! They were so kind and helpful which is so important in marrakesh since it’s a crazy city and you need help Lol. The room was small and cozy and comfortable. We had a fireplace! I loved this road and can’t recommend it enough!
The staff made the hotel the best part of my stay in Morocco, we stayed at a “5 star” for 6 days and only two days to be closer to the centre at Tempoo honestly even though Tempoo has less facilities and is slightly on the old side the experience was the best
Breakfast was Good.
Rooms very noisy
There is no door between the sleeping part of the room and the entrance of the room -people in the corridor can be heard all night long.
This is a hotel for mainstream tour operator guests.
In no way a 5 star hotel.
The central location was so ideal, and it was incredible to be so close to the main Square and right in the city! It was also just a fun atmosphere for being in Morocco the first time and the open air hotel, and all of the rooms just had a very good vibe!
Nothing. It was just a disaster! The worst hotel stay I've experienced so far.
It does not deserve at all the 5 star rating.
I was shocked by the very bad quality of service at all levels: reception, food, waiters, swimming pool, spa...
Very clean. Nice pool. Only 2km from Medina. Free parking.
Rooms are really nice decorated. Also hotel has really nice decoration. It gives you impression of 5 stars hotel.
