We traveled with friends and booked two double rooms. Rooms are basic and clean. The view from the roof terrace over the blue city is stunning. We were welcomed with Moroccan tea on the terrace when we arrived. It’s the perfect place to stay if you arriving by car as the parking garage is one minute walk away and costs 60 dhs per 24hrs. The entrance to the old town is across the road and down some stairs. The owner was very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was the typical Moroccan style with a good coffee. We all enjoyed our stay and especially enjoyed discovering alley ways of The Blue city. Take a walk up to the Mosque on the hill. Beautiful views from there.

Chefchaouene is a beautiful mountain village with friendly people and just emerging in its tourism. We had the most incredible traditional hammam at Riad Cherifa. There was a sense of culture and tradition without the intensity of the big cities like Fes and Marrakesh. If you are visiting Morocco this was one of our highlights.

A ridiculously picturesque city with a quaint Médina to stroll though. An afternoon, dinner, one night and breakfast is likely enough time to explore the area. There are lots of hills/stairs so might not be ideal for people with mobility issues.

It is a more laid back place compared with where we had come from in Morocco ie. the bustling city of Fez -So we instantly felt more relaxed! We mostly enjoyed exploring by walking at our own pace in this pretty town in the mountains. We enjoyed views from rooftops and from the top of the Kasbah. We had good meals- one at the main square a restaurant called Twins which was great for people watching and to see the entertainers! Also the other restaurant we went to twice was called Cafe Clock where there was live music every night and the staff were very helpful and interested in chatting with us..

Picturesque town with lots of photo opportunities and hiking directly out of town. Smallish, but fun Medina which is full of steps and alleys you can get lost in, but easy to get out of as well. A bit touristy but souks are not pushy at all.

Scenic, but lots of tourists (including us!)
Scenic, but lots of tourists (including us!) most handicrafts for sale did not appear to be of high quality; however, some rugs looked quite nice but I didn’t have the capacity (room) to consider purchasing any.
Not only is Hotel Ziryab beautiful with a breathtaking view of the city, but Fouad, the owner made our stay comfortable. As Canadians, he constantly checked in if we needed anything and upgraded our room when he found out it’s our honeymoon. The food, food, coffee, and tea is just amazing if you don’t feel like going out. Anas also gave us such a warm welcome and accommodated us to utmost. He helped us when we needed a charging adapter and needed a driver back to the other cities. Hotel Ziryab is the best in Chefchaouen!
Al Kassaba is the best place you can stay in Chefchauon!
I loved everything about this little hotel. The owner and the owner's son were so helpful, kind and generous. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and you can tell a lot of time was spent creating this stunning place. The location is perfect and you are in the heart of The Blue City but also close enough to catch a taxi to the bus station.
I will definitely come back here to stay next time I'm in Chefchauon!
As the second to last stay on our Morocco round trip, the Hotel Ouarzazate is queueing itself into its predecessors of accomodations in which we stayed in and had a wonderful recreation time - a marvellous building amidst the busy medina of Chefchaouen, where one can enjoy the silentness of former times. We had a highly cozy little chamber and regarding the bathrooms there was also nothing bad to say. Thank you for this amazing night here!
Relatively easy to find with google maps once you get dropped off by the Hotel Parador and walk the rest of the way to the hotel. Close to our favorite crepe shop "Toda" which our host recommended to us. Close to Bab El Onsar and the path to the Bouzafer Mosque so you can watch the sunset fall over Chefchauen and not have to walk too far back to the hotel. Bed linens were nice and warm (perfect for when we visited in December).
The taxi can drop you right in front of the hotel from the CTM bus station in 8 minutes.
The hotel is located right at the entrance of the Medina (Like 30 seconds walk).
The place has a nice terrace with a beautiful view from the city. The breakfast is almost like a brunch, the best we had so far in our trip to Morocco. Staff is friendly and helpful.
The hotel is located near one of the most beautiful streets with lots of little souvenir shops and photogenic locations. The hotel had all we needed inside and the breakfast was very good, unless you are on a gluten-free diet (in which case I advise to pack your own food to Morocco - they eat bread and pancakes for breakfast 🍞).
Highly recommend this Riad. The staff is really friendly and the facility is excellent.
The room was very functional with a great layout for 4 adults.
The roof top terrace has great views and is great to see either sunset or sunrise.
Great breakfast on terrace to start off the day.
Best combination of Riad and hotel.
They picked us up from the closest parking lot to show us where the hotel is. We had the top room which had tall wide windows so the views were great. We were able to enjoy sunrise from our room. The rooftop is a great way to spend sunset instead of walking all the way to the church with crowds of other people.
The best hotel in which we stayed in our 10 days trip in the north of Morocco. Staff was very helpful and nice, the room was clean, big and had a beautiful bath. Everything smelled so well, breakfast in the small garden was great. And the place itself was impressive and soothing.
Loved the design of the hotel and the hospitality of the hosts. The staff went out of their way to do laundry for us since this was about the halfway point of our time in Morocco. The room was very clean, overly spacious, and not too far from the bus station. Thank you!
this is the best hotel I’ve been in Morocco so far. starting from exceptional people and amazing service to perfect location in medina.
we also got upgraded room because we were freezing and asked for the warmest room in the hotel.
very delicious breakfast as well
Cozy boutique hotel with nice rooftop and parking nearby.Very friendly and attentive staff and a very good quality/price ratio. We went in winter the rooms had ac or heaters and very warm blankets, the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was equally good!
Simply beautiful,One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable bed, beautiful views and heated bathroom floors. Tasty traditional Moroccan breakfast served buffet style.
This hotel is just outside the medina on the side of a mountain. It’s an easy five minute walk to the main square and lots of restaurants. It’s very quiet Noor, the innkeeper, was very gracious and helpful. …
