Amlougui House was without a doubt the highlight of our trip to Morocco! Do yourself a favour and make a visit here! The village is so beautiful and peaceful, and not another tourist in sight. Ibrahim and his family were incredibly sweet and accommodating - we also had really insightful chats with Ibrahim about society, Amazigh culture and history, and how fast the world is moving these days. Myself and my friend are vegan but were not expecting any special foods, just enough to get us by, and we got provided a delicious vegetable tagine and other foods in dinner as well as avocado (from the valley!) and jams with bread at breakfast, we really appreciated all the food thank you! The guesthouse is nicely decorated, very clean, and with a stunning view. Ibrahim was an excellent guide hiking with us up in the mountains and taking us two a few wonderful local spots.

The staff were super friendly and hospitable. We arrived late and when they saw how tired we were they offered us tea and soup on the house. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The location is beautiful. That morning was pretty chilly but I imagine having breakfast outside on a warmer day can be a very nice experience.

It wasn't our first time at Irocha and it is as fantastic as ever. The place is beautiful, the surroundings are really special and Ahmed and Catherine are the best.

Beautiful location, spacious and well appointed rooms. Tasty home cooked food cooked to order, and a lovely terrace to sit, drink tea, and absorb the mountain views. The hotel also recommended hiking trails to me up into the Berber villages, which were stunning. The hotel was helpfull, sourced local raw honey for me which I em enjoying now back in England, and finding me a shared taxi back to Marrakesh which cost very little. hope to return.

Everything was wonderful. (Even though the Kasbah is right at the main road, it's quiet). Within a short walk behind the kasbah you can reach the mountains where you find old room-caves in the cliffs and rocks. The people of the Kasbah aswell as the local people in the town behind the Kasbah are very helpful with finding trails and explanations. If we ever come back, we will visit this place again. Thank you very much for all.

Martine is very, very nice, helpful and approachable, but can get too intrusive. Pretty, well kept property. Great location to hike to waterfalls (around 5 min walking to entrance) and restaurants (3 min).
