Lovely staff, we felt so welcomed from the moment we set foot on the property. The breakfast is delicious and the room cozy. We went late May (for one night) and it was extremely peaceful. It gets busier from mid June.
Thank you, we hope to come again :)
P.S
Bring some mosquito spray

We liked the cute and authentic touch of the design of the room, it is private so you have your own entrance into first floor, it's is spacious and with very well equipped kitchenette, great aircon, we stayed in winter and were very toasty. Spacious and clean shower room, the tight amount of towels provided, very homily decorated, wish we stayed longer to enjoy this little cute hut! 😍

The best time for introverts to stay in Pāvilosta is the beginning of September. That time families with children usually come back home and the village including beaches becomes almost empty. Unfortunately that means that caffes and restaurants are open just Friday-Sunday. So, you have to help yourself and it is possible.

Perfect location to relax during weekend.
Perfect location to relax during weekend. Beach is amazing here for long walks, water sport and sunbathing. Also, good place to go with bike. During summer time it's lively with bars open rather late.
Cafe Laiva has one of the best breakfast we have had in a while outside home. Scrabbled eggs and sandwich with avocado, bacon and egg - just perfect! :)

The possibly best place for walking along seeside.
The possibly best place for walking along seeside. Walking south you can hardly meet another person. So, you can spend the whole day being nude if you wish. After about 10 km there is seelight tower at Akmenrags. If you wish you can ask for service to climb up. Nowadays it probably cost some money.
Walking north there are better lanscape, but you meet some couple or individual per hour.
Be careful. It is almost always windy wheather in Pavilosta. So, you can easily oversunburn if the day turns out to be sunny. Because you do not feel it in a wind.

Paviluosta is a perfect choice for the families.
Paviluosta is a perfect choice for the families. It is very calm place, so no need to worry about traffic or loud music and the sea is so close. We ate at "Veju paradise" several times, it was tasty.

Actually - I don't recommend Pavilosta to tourists, because then it will lose it's charm of being small village for just those, who knows. But if you promise not to promote it too much, - it is one of the most beautiful places at the sea.

It is a small fishermen village frequented by yachtsmen and tourists who like outdoor activities.
You can surf in Pāvilosta - there are almost always winds and waves, and sometimes (if you are lucky) you can get the amber wind that brings amber to the shore.
You can also rent a kayak or canoe, or a bike.
The local Museum is nice and modern, they even have virtual realty experience.
The food is outstanding - try fish! The most delicious food is in the hotel "Vēju Paradīze"and cafe "Laiva".
Wonderfull place in the middle of latvia, next to Pāvilosta. Something between an old industrial complex and the quiteness of the Latvian country. There is a pond, some ducks a basketball court and the bar is just there across the road. The room was equipped with a small nice kitchen, a bathroom, a table and a sofa. Everything in what the call the Fontaine style. Something between punk and a sophisticated nice vintage style. I would have stayed more days. Beautifull beaches just few minutes by car and miles of nothingness.
Perfect location between Jurkalne and Pāvilosta. Kids and dogs especially loved the safe open space outside. We enjoyed the hottub in the evening since it was not the warmest weather and watched a beautiful sunset sitting in it.
Beautiful beach nearby!
Our stay was comfortable and relaxing with both kids and dogs, and that is something :).
Very friendly hosts. The house was super clean and has good kitchen supplies (not overloaded and you got all you need).
We spent two nights in Butterfly House, and this place was really great. It looked amazing already in the photos, but it turned out to be even better in reality! Butterfly House had a very romantic and artistic vibe, we totally loved it. The place was not very big, but it was spacious enough for two of us and had everything we needed. If we will come back to Pāvilosta, we will definitely choose Butterfly House again! :)
- new building next to river/ Pavilosta Yacht Port / 4 min walk from the beach
- welcome drink "on the roof" of the hotel
- excellent room with very high ceiling (fresh sea air!) and balcony
- delicious breakfast (including 3 types of fish, several types of meats etc.)
- incredible large pool in the SPA area,+ sauna etc.
- private parking
Great location, free parking space right in front of the hotel. Dog friendly! They offer free coffee to all guests. Very nice and friendly staff. Wine hour for all the guests. The breakfast was amazing!
Overall cozy atmosphere. During dinner duck was baked medium rare, but after I asked they baked it well done (thanks to the kind staff).
A nice and cozy place in the heart of Pāvilosta. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment. It was very well stocked with all kinds of things you might need, even toys which our kids appreciated the most. The heated floors provided extra comfort in the cold winter, we loved it! Definitely recommend!
The location is outstanding. Very close proximity to the sea and in walking distance from Pāvilostas pier. The place is very quiet. It gives an opportunity to run away from a busy, noisy city life. The owners are very nice and helpful. It was a real pleasure to stay there.
Pillows were the best, comparing to other hotels. Also I spent some time in sauna and inside swimming pool and it was super relaxing, slept like a baby. Staff is very friendly, dinner and breakfast were good.
Professional staff, attitude and service! At the moment best hotel in Pavilosta and cities nearby! Would stay there more and more! Breakfast - great! Pet friendly! Pool and SPA!
Nice hotel. Fantasticly comfortable beds and soft sheets.
Great sauna and pool area.
And the vine hour was a nice surprise.
Staff was also very friendly and helpful.
