The accommodation exceeded my expectations.
There is a parking lot next to the house.
Nice, picturesque place, by the river, near attractions. Outdoor furniture, it is possible to eat outside. The house is old, but the apartments are modernly furnished inside. The apartments are very nicely arranged, newly renovated, interesting layout. Bathrooms in each room, separate toilet. New towels and bath amenities. The apartments have extra bed linen and sheets. The kitchen has everything you need for a comfortable rest, the possibility to cook your own food. There are board games for children.
The apartments are very substantial and well maintained.
Contactless key airing, all detailed information about the key transfer was sent in advance. It's a shame we had such a short stay. I recommend the apartments for family vacations.

Breakfast was not included but our host, Vinyetta [?] accommodated our needs when we asked if she had milk for the coffee she gave us. Her personality was positive, generous and very spirited! We didn't expect outdoor seating and were delighted that we could sit outside in her beautiful surroundings. Also, use of the large kitchen to cook and sit at a large table.
Beautiful, picturesque place. Stunning nature, forest parks, nature trails. We visit the Lygatnes rocks and the Lygatnes nature trail. It is a pity that the tourist information center was not open. I was hoping that they would advise me on more attractions.

It's like Latvian Twin Peaks.
It's like Latvian Twin Peaks. Take your time to wander around, up and down, all these wooden pathways and roads. I especially like to walk in Līgatne during the dark hours. Very mystic and inspirational.

This place offers a geography that is not present in most of Latvia. While most of the country is flat as a pancake, this place has some hills and cliffs of exposed compressed sand. Gauja river is nearby if you want to have a swim or sail a boat.
There's not much to visit though, and because of the tourists, the prices are insane for Latvian countryside. All three places you can eat in are expensive and the food is so-so. There's a zoo, a suspended net park for kids, and old abandoned paper factory that requires you to book tours in advance. That's about it.

Gorgeous nature, nice walking trails and the nature reserve is a must-visit. And the soviet bunker of course is also a must-see. A great place to visit which is close to the city yet far enough to have its own vibe.
Renovated apartment with all modern amenities in an old factory barrack. Very clean and tastefully decorated rooms. The kitchen and bathroom are well equipped.
The location of the apartment right by the river makes it special. There is a very good restaurant next door.
There is a lot of exciting things to do in Ligatne for both adults and children.
Definitely recommend.
Interior beautifully designed and thought out. Lots of entertainment for kids. Small nice kitchen with lovely teas available for hotel guests. Breakfast was quite tasty and offered some variety and it was wonderful we could enjoy it in a private lounge since we traveled with a one year old. Quick check in and check out, the staff very friendly and willing to help.
Great location within Gauja national park. Wonderfully secluded on a hill in the forest. Forest, caves, board walks, old factory ruin and lake right behind the house. Ligatne nature trails nearby. The apartment has everything you need. Most important locations in the national park are within a 10-25 minute drive. We would have loved to stay longer.
Rooms are big with high ceilings, superb design of room. Great facilities you can enjoy, painting gallery, relaxing area, net park. Small room with mini-bar, kettle and tea free of charge. Comfy bed. Parking near hotel. Atmosphere of entire place. Concerts are happening on Zeit territory.
Located in the very quaint town of Ligatne, close to hiking trails. Breakfast was HUGE - enough for lunch, too! We recommend also making a reservation at the nearby restaurant Pavāru māja. Very comfortable bed, basic furnishings, lovely view of the river and hill from the patio.
The house is located in a very beautiful place by the river. Everything in the house is thought out and feels like home. Līgatne's fabulous nature and nature park for walks. A fantastic place to relax from everyday life :) at a very affordable price.
