Our stay was nice. The location is excellent, right on the main street, but it was quiet in the evening. The sea is within 4 minutes walk. The staff was very friendly. Only one negative - we had to pay cash, but they let us know in advance, so it was not a big deal :) Would recommend this place.

Lots of food and shopping on Jurmala street, but the whole area is very large so renting bikes or having a car is very important.
Summer would be much nicer but the autumn was very quiet and there were no crowds anywhere.

Jurmala is a must-visit when coming to Latvia.
Jurmala is a must-visit when coming to Latvia. The kilometeres long beach side just 20-30 minutes from Riga, easy to reach both by car and by train. First things to visit are most likely Majori, Dzintari and shopping/walking street that connects both of those places (which also stands for train stops when you buy train tickets). But also Bulduri and Dubulti are good areas to visit, especially if you are a fan of architecture - Jurmala has its own unique style of wooden architecture houses, some of them have been reconstructed and can be perfectly seen between streets (Morbergs summer house is the best example of this). There are plenty of good 4 and 5 star hotels in the center - with good SPA's and restaurant. The best outside restaurant could be "Line 36" - with one of the best Latvian chefs. For active attractions my best suggestion is Livu Aqua Park - inside water attractions park, one of the biggest in Baltics, quite pricey but good for a fun day, especially with kids. There are lots of nature to explore around the city, but all in all I would say that outside the summer season the city will surprise you with the pleasant calmness and fresh air.

We couldn't find anyplace where we could walk the dog on the beach. In general, I didn't get the impression that dogs are appreciated there. Our 5kg Havanese seemed too much for a beach walk in October--even on the leash.

Unfortunately the summer seasons ends mid of august so that as late august traveler the beaches and town seem a little like a ghost town and a lot of restaurants, activites etc. are already closed

great location, right on the beach with every possible facility available. a short walk to the shopping area where we bought souvenirs and had coffee. The hotel restaurant had an exclusive feel and the food was excellent. We will definitely return again.
The hotel is a charming wooden building which is typical for Jurmala and very adorable. The location is super central and simply perfect. Downstairs there is a restaurant where you get a discount as a hotel guest and a parking space. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. The WC and shower were across the corridor, but it was absolutely fine and I knew it before booking. A lovely place to stay after a nice event or just enjoying the seaside.
The hotel is far from the city center, but the beach is very close, just few minutes on foot and you are there. Some advantages of the hotel:
1. The parking place. There is enough space where to leave a car.
2. Spa and pool area.
3. Gym area. There is a lot of sport equipment. Minus that the sport premises is too hot.
4. Breakfast. There is plenty of options what to eat.
5. Silence. Everywhere you can feel a silence.

Absolutely great mineral water pool , very good water exercises, …. Comfortable and relaxing Salt room, … great massages ( I had with Olga ) I highly recommend this Rehabilitation centre… kind of Spa hotel … beautiful!!!!!!!!
I liked the design of our room, it was a studio type with 2 floors so our kids could sleep separately from us. It was in a good place, very close to the beach. Also, we liked that the hotel had a lot of facilities for small kids, such as a playground in the garden and designated baby corner for kids to play. For a tired parents it’s super needed! :) Also, it was pretty easy to find the parking space around the hotel.
Stylish room,good soundproofing. Very friendly and helpful staff. Additional respect to the cleaning girls working on 20 July, they were only two and did their job perfectly, considering fully packed hotel. Surprisingly hotel do have big closed yard with playground for children and restaurant terrace(working for breakfast only). Located near the sea and the beach in this area is not overcrowded👌
It is a little beautiful hotel with incredible kind and helpful staff. Nicely decorated, everywhere always sparkling clean, breakfast was unforgettable, supermarkets and restaurants are near, beach is also really close. This is such a brilliant spot! Clean, cosy, and comfortable, with all the amenities you could possibly need. In such an idyllic location that you really feel like you’re out of the city. A short walk to the Lielupe river, or a longer walk through beautiful forest to get to the beach. The host was so lovely and welcoming, offering many helpful recommendations.
Excellent location, close to the beach. Very convenient to have a dishwasher and washing machine, plus tablets already there to use. It was very easy to check in and was able to check in early which was nice of the host. The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean.

The location was on a nice quiet residential street. You could walk to the beach and to the grocery store (both within 1-2 blocks). It was a nice yard and cute interior with the loft.
It had everything, including dishes, loads of towels, everything was consodered, even had a great sound system which was great for our group. Right by th beach!
