Palanga is very crowded in the summer, so we like to go there when it's not the vacation season. We really like going to the beach, to see the sea or to see the sun going down to the sea.
It's really nice, that even in off-season Palanga has some good restaurants to offer very tasty food such as Vandenis (THE BEST), A-petit, Meat Busters and others. If you choose to stay near city centre, it is very easy to get around Palanga by foot.

Very nice, there is very busy area if you like spending time at bars and restaurants but also much quieter areas and hotels near beautiful beaches and amber museum. Tree lined streets just amazing. Best of both worlds.

This was 4th or 5th time we have stayed at that place (Vila Saule). We like this location between Botanical Garden and Basanavičiaus (pedestrian) street, as it's very centered and takes just a few minutes to walk to the sea. The location is quiet and peaceful, but with all the nicest cafes and the most necessary shops right here. We have stayed in many different rooms (usually for 3 persons) on different occasions, and they were always super clean and had all the necessary equipment. The hosts are kind and helpful, so if you need any additional amenities, just ask them. Free parking is convenient. We look forward to coming here next year.

It's a very touristy, chic town with an amazing, miles long sand beach as well as an entertainment oriented city center.
If you're looking for a genuine picture of people living their live or want to connect with nature, this is not the town to visit.
But if you're looking to be entertained, party or relax on one of the nicest, cleanest beaches on the Baltic sea with all the amenities one could hope for, then Palanga has you covered.

Beautiful Baltic seaside resort city. Town center is very cosy, compact and walkable. Lots of small shops and restaurants on the way to the beach. Great coniferous forest park area with walking trails along the seaside. Sandy beach is clean and can be accessed from all parts of the city. The pier and observation wheel definitely worth visiting. Not far away from the Dutchman's hat, but it worth taking the car or bike. Crowdy in the summer and peaceful throughout the rest of the year.
Friendly and very helpful people, nice communication, easy and quick self check in, e-key. Quiet location, 5 min walk to children's playground, 10 min walk to the beach, 30 min relaxing walk by the seaside to the very city center.
Apartment is very comfortable, light. Has plenty of space (like average 3 rooms flat, actually) with big shower room. Very well equipped kitchen (joined with living room). Very comfortable spacious bed in bedroom. 2 aircond. 2 balconies. Parking on site. Closed and well kept yard and garden. Pets friendly!
Pleasant and always smiling host :) Been to this property before, so knew exactly what to expect - all good as before! (A few new holiday home building sites nearby this year, but noise was minimal and did not disrupt the stay.) Perfect location for comfortable, quiet get away in a self catering property. Sandy clean beach a short stroll away through a lovely pine tree forest. Luxury spa 15min walk away into another direction. Palanga center, restaurants, shops - a short car or bike ride away.
The place of the hotel is good, just a few meters away from main street.
Private underground parking is a bit small, but we managed to find 1 remaining parking slot at the time.
The room is also small, but it's enough for 2 people. The furniture is nice, the bed is comfortable, the room is clean, the bathroom is also fine and clean.
Breakfast was tasty, but the choice was poor. Very few choices - pretty much english breakfast ingredients and pancakes.
A true 5* resort type hotel a couple of minutes walk to the beach, same to a gorgeous park and a few min strol to the town centre. the hotel itself is beautifully presented, rooms are spacious, smart, comfortable. Breakfast is excellent. The sauna and swimming pool complex are great. Could not fault anything here, it is very much on par with 5* hotels worldwide and thus far the best I’ve been to in Lithuania. Looking forward to coming back!
Wonderful hotel with very warm and friendly staff and the chef was wonderful. I enjoyed my stay I was not aware of Palanga but the people made me comfortable. Their welcome smile and friendly nature and they booked the Taxi for me because I'm new to the town. I wanted to revisit the hotel in the summer because I wanted to see the beaches around..
Great location. Right in front of a pine forest then opens to the beach traditional Lithuania summer house. Less then 10 minutes walking distance from the central and pier. Safe and free car parking is provided. Friendly family run business. We really enjoyed our stay with our 18 months old, everything was so close to the property.
The hotel faces a beautiful forest park area and is a walking distance from the central parts of the town and the Amber museum. The rooms are quite spacious and have tall ceilings, and while the furniture is quite outdated and a bit drab, it provides everything you need for a pretty good value.
The building looks tidy, with a good location and really neat and nice common areas. Good parking, as long as you don't get a space at the very corner of the car park to exit from, as long as all the parking spaces around it are occupied, you really need driving skills :)

I liked that they had family room-type accommodation (with two bedrooms). Parking was right in front of the hotel (not much of it, but manageable). Location was a bit off from the center, so it was relatively quite there (after the hotel's restaurant closed).
As usual, Smėlynas greeted us with a very clean, well-maintained and stocked apartment. There was both bath and shower in the bathroom. A lot of space in apartment No. 6. Dedicated free parking space with an option to charge EV for extra fee.
This hotel is near a park so the environment is lovely. The apartment was clean and very spacious. We enjoyed the balcony and the living room area. Breakfast was okay - a few options, so I chose what I prefer, but nothing special.
