I recently stayed in this hotel in Pasikuda, Sri Lanka, which is beautifully located on a clean beach with gentle waves during this season. (September 2024) The hotel rooms were modern and spacious, providing a comfortable stay. They also have a dedicated water sports section that offered exciting Jet Ski rides and a snorkeling trip to the nearby "Kayankerni" Coral Reef for a reasonable additional cost. Snorkeling was an amazing first-time experience for both my wife and me, and it was impressive that even some 5-star hotels do not have a water sports center like this one. The hotel features a large swimming pool with a depth of 9 feet at one end, perfect for a refreshing swim. The location is ideal, with no stones or corals that could hurt your feet while enjoying the beach. Although the hotel manager was not present during our visit, we were warmly greeted by the manager from their sister hotel, who made us feel welcome.

The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the young man who seemed to pop up everywhere from breakfast to cleaning. Responsible for the operation of the hotel in the off-season and did it very well. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was really good and was enough for a long day.

Lovely pool and great surroundings, very quiet. Large rooms with high ceilings. Huge bed. Taxi available to take you to the beach / local restaurants. Good as a stop over on the way to another destination. Breakfast was tasty - no vegetarian on menu but we requested and it was sorted for us.

Sri, the owner, and his sisters run this hotel. They are the most caring and welcoming hosts and treated me like family. Sri has lived and worked in Switzerland for 30+ years and speaks excellent English. The hotel is on the beach, which you have largely to yourself. Sri has an assortment of surf boards, bicycles, etc, which he lends to guests. Whilst I was there (4 days), the family were caring for their 92 year old mother who was recovering from a stroke, so they were not cooking. They did, however, cook me 2 meals which were the best curries I had in Sri Lanka. I fully recommend Baden beach and would return in a heartbeat.

This is a lovely place, well located close to both beaches and very comfortable!!! We had an air-conditioned room with everything you need and a huge garden. Breakfast was amazing, and we wish to had eaten there more often. The family is lovely (they speak perfect English), and the man who helps them as well. We were treated to coconuts and lovely fruit juices, and they even provided us with water so we didn't need to carry and buy bottles. Our son loved little chicks that were running around 😊 we cannot recommend this place highly enough and would definitely come again!
