Lovely Welcoming staff.
Setting is amazing - surrounded by rainforest and plants (we stayed in one of the hilltop cottages).

We were in a Luxe Cottage, located at the top of the hill, which was tough on the calves and achiles, but we chose to take the workout and not to get a buggy ride up every time. The view of the Petit Piton from the balcony was stunning. If you want the view you have to choose the room carefully as some are blocked by the restaurant building. Room was light, airy and well appointed. Breakfasts were very good, with a plate of fresh fruit and the food choice was different (local and trad choices) , tasty and beautifully presented. The view of the Petit Piton from the dining room was stunning. The staff were almost exclusively wonderful, friendly, helpful and fun. The estate is large, you can take an easy hike through the beautiful grounds up to Project Chocolat where there is a bar and cafe on hand to refresh yourself.
Situated in Soufrière, 400 metres from Soufriere Beach, Green Fig Resort & Spa features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace.

Lovely place to stay in Soufrière - beautiful view from the balcony too and a short walk to town. Would recommend the hotel arranged transfer from the airport as it was reasonable and also the driver planned a stop in a supermarket en route for us to buy groceries for our stay.

This is sooo close to everything you need for this side of the island. If you got it in you it’s even close to walk to waterfalls/hot springs/botanical gardens.
Close to beach, shops, restaurants, bars, market and bus stop

We were looking for a place to visit where we could travel around on our own, make our own meals, explore nature and see beautiful scenery, and see what the country is like for the people who live there - and Saint Lucia was perfect! As long as you're up for the challenges of driving on the left side of the road with the driver's seat on the right, on sometimes very steep, curvy and rough roads (even just to get to your accommodations!), it's a great and safe country to drive around (highly recommend renting a 4-wheel drive jeep!). There are lots of sights to see and things to do within short distances, many places to shop for groceries or eat out, and many beaches to explore. We loved that all the beaches are public so we saw many local people enjoying the beach and sea on a holiday where we went to snorkel. It was very hot and humid when we went in May so we didn't do as much hiking as we planned, but there is a lot of hiking and trails to see waterfalls etc. that you can do. Definitely visit Tet Paul Nature Trail and highly recommend a boat cruise- we did a Sunset Cruise with Mystic Man Cruises and had an amazing experience- beautiful views along the coast and of the Pitons, and a school of dolphins surrounded us! We spent half our time in Saint Lucia near Soufriere in the mountains on the coast with a stunning view of the Pitons and the sea, and the other half further north in Choc Bay right on the beach, and it was truly the best of both worlds! Not overly touristy, commercial or crowded, and very friendly people! Things were more expensive than we expected - e.g. the cost of groceries surprised us - even for fruits they grow locally. However we so thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, it was definitely worth it!

Soufriere is a weird kind of place, it looks sad and it was a place where we didn't feel safe, lots of men sitting around offering you stuff, we only found 1 restaurant half decent (where we ate at twice and the food was lovely, don't remember the name but it's close to the dock and it looks like it's where tour guides take tourists to), lots of drunk people on the street too.
I understand why people go to St Lucia and just stay at their resorts, this area is not yet prepared to receive tourists who like to explore.
The beaches nearby are nice but Sugar Beach is ridiculous, yes, it is beautiful but it is absurd that a 5 star hotel takes up the whole beach.
I'm glad we only spent 1 night here and the rest of the holiday in Rodney Bay, where there are more restaurants and lovely beaches. Much better infra-structure for tourism.

Great place for a base to St Lucia, as the most interesting places to visit are near here. There are a lot of locals that hang out in the city which makes it congested but they are very friendly, and all the people in the shops were friendly as well. The beach in the city is decent, and free, whereas the nearby resort ones are very nice but cost $$. I would base here again. Driving the road north is something you'll want to do only once due to how long it takes and the aggressive drivers, so plan accordingly!! :)

The resorts are great, it’s close to many adventures and sights… but in all my years of travel I’ve never been so hounded by peddlers. There were a few times we felt unsafe and were yelled at for not buying something. We

Soufriere is a must for anyone who visits St Lucia; there are the Pitons, the sulphur springs, Diamond baths and waterfalls and the botanical gardens and more. The locals are kind, polite, you are never hassled. The food is good and lots of good walks, transport is good. A good place to chill, walk or take a boat ride to the left Anse Chastanet or to the right to Sugar Beach.

It was exactly what we were looking for
So much to see and experience:
- Sulfur spring Mud Bath - $10US
- Jerusalem Mineral Baths (recommended) $4US
- Botanical Gardens - $6US
- Tet Paul hike (approx. 1 hr) -$10US
- Anse Mamin (our favourite beach)
- Chastanet Beach
- Hummingbird Beach - local beach
- Sugar beach (our least favorite, busy with tours, snorkeling)
- Roots restaurant in center of Soufrier
- Fedo's restaurant - great local food
Liked the peaceful, hilly setting with tropical trees, plants, and birds. Very nice swimming pool with good loungers, chairs and tables. Lights poolside were turned on at night. Also nice outside seating on patio in front of each villa. Well equipped kitchen with counter seating. Everything was clean. Provided beach towels. Host was welcoming and communicated well. Liked ceiling fans in bedroom and LR. Bedroom AC worked fine. We liked being able to arrive by minibus from Soufriere and experience a rollicking ride with locals.
That is a hidden gem in St Lucia. Absolutely love our stay here. Let me list a few point that we really appreciate:
1) communication with the owner prior to arrival
2) we provided an estimate arrival time and Calixte met us and help with the road to the property.
3) absolutely beautiful atmosphere and the million dollars view from the balcony!
4) spotless room, kitchen and bathroom. Like the soft 5* hotels towels.
5) fresh fruits and flowers in the room and herbs from Calixte garden - he gave us.
We really enjoyed our stay at Amazon Villas in the hills behind Soufriere. The location is surrounded by beautiful greenery and the air is fresh and cooler than in town. The unit was comfortable and the pool area is really lovely. We also appreciated the covered verandah. There is a super restaurant within walking distance but a car is useful for visiting the surrounding attractions, beaches, waterfalls etc. Conrad and the staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating during our visit.
The host, Arletta, is fabulous, attentive, thoughtful and knowledgeable. The apartment is clean and well equipped - there is a towel for every occasion, including the mud baths! Arletta arranged airport pickup from Marcellus, a local driver, who also took us to various local sites - if you don’t bring a car to Soufrière, I would definitely recommend having Marcellus number on WhatsApp. We had a super week and would definitely recommend this place as lovely and great value for money!
lovely intimate property that really makes you feel like you’re living in a magical tropical jungle. absolutely loved the staff! everyone treated us like a friend and were happy to share info about St Lucian culture. we appreciated the on-site trail with a great view of the pitons, free beach shuttle, and the gorgeous nature walks where you can see the different fruits and other vegetation growing on the property. it was cool to see a lot of it then show up in the breakfast buffet!
The location! The view over Soufriere to the Pitons was spectacular. The infinity pool was lovely and also had the amazing view. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room also had a great view and a hammock to lie in and enjoy the sunset. It was large, clean and comfy with all we needed for our stay. The restaurant served a small menu but the food was good and reasonably priced.
Isaiah was an awesome host and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy La Pelle and Soufriere. Not only did he make sure we knew where to go in town, but he constantly checked in on us to ensure we were having a great time. The place itself was beautiful with an awesome view and incredibly close (walking distance) to all of the spots in Soufriere including the market.
Downtown waterfront location in Soufriere. Near restaurants bars and market and dingy dock. Walk up 4 flights with luggage. Fitted our needs perfectly. Room had fridge hot water pot good air conditioning and sea view (over tin roof tops). Bed was comfortable but sheets didn’t fit well. Room was shabby but comfortable. Staff was great and it was very safe.
Amazing stay at the hotel! Everything was great! The staff super friendly and accommodating even after our stay, as our flight was delayed for more than 24hours, we came back to the hotel at 4am and we were welcome to rest in a cabin free of charge. We couldn’t be thankful enough for the kindness. I definitely recommend this beautiful place.
The hotel is up a steep hill from the town but this gives incredible views of the Pitons. The room was a good size, had a fridge, glasses, plates and cutlery for basic self catering (no cooking facilities). The staff were welcoming and friendly and couldn't do enough to ensure we had everything we needed or book taxis.
The cottage was spacious and really unique! Outdoor shower was a fun addition. Amazing view of the jungle. Dinner was tasty and cheaper than other hotel restaurants. Hike on site to see the view of the piton was amazing! Able to get a free shuttle bus to see sugar beach which was my favourite beach on the trip.
This boutique hotel was perfect for our stay in Soufriere. It's located very close to the beach and a short walk to downtown restaurants. The cleaner, Sylvia welcomed us when we arrived and ensured we had everything we needed. Overall a lovely place to stay.
The hotel had a nice breakfast with some ingredients from the property farm. Rooms are beautiful. Comfy beds. Good shower. Beautiful area close to Pitons and mud baths. The chocolate tour is informative and fun.
Excellent view of Pitons from room and grounds of the hotel. Stayed in villa room, equipped with kitchen. Tree Top Restaurant is close by, recommend the restaurant if you’re staying at Samfi,
Great value for money hotel with exceptional views. The room was clean, nicely decorated and the gardens very well kept. Staff were great and our breakfast on the balcony was amazing!
Loved the location, very close to Soufriere town and a close walk to the beach. Great views of the Piton from everywhere. Staff were all very friendly.
