The location on the island is just amazing and unlike any other accommodation I’ve stayed at before. Kactus KohTaKiev and the entire island is very relaxed, it almost feels like a different world here, which makes it the perfect spot to rest and recharge in between travels. The staff is great and makes you feel very welcome and at home, the food was excellent and the tours were fun! We also enjoyed the yoga and sports classes which gave us a bit of a routine during our stay which was very nice. Overall it’s definitely an experience like no other and we enjoyed staying here for one week to really calm down and relax.

A really nice hidden Gem! Very relaxed and perfect place to let your soul rest. Shoutout to Matti for making me feel welcome from the very first second. The tents are not hot at all because they have a wooden roof so the sunlight doesn't go through.

The hotel was very aesthetically pleasing. The pool looked lovely, the buildings looked posh and the rooms were beautiful and clean. I had good night sleeps despite the floor to ceiling windows in the rooms because they had good curtains. They also had a fridge and a good working shower.

If you like basic (very basic) peace and quiet, beautiful sunrise and sunset, this is the place for you to relax. Boats do come in regularly a few in the weekday and more at weekends, but they usually go near the restaurant, so not too noisy. Host, Nak, is excellent and will help you with many things eg forward bookings, as remember there is no Wi-Fi. The food is adequate as to be expected on an island.

This is peace ! no cars no bikes only motors: generatators. Friendly helpful happy crowd, hiking in the Djungle, paddeling in the canoe around the island to coral bay go snorkling there, playing beach ball in the evenings, eating healthy tasty food. On the other side, 15 min on Kaktus beach you can see thd sunset, at last point you see sunrise.

Having stayed on the island 12 years ago we were expecting...
Having stayed on the island 12 years ago we were expecting change, but only a few more bungalows and tents have been added. It was sometimes noisy at night until late and as most travellers like to have early nights and early mornings on an island. If we go again it will be to a different camp.

The accommodation was great!
The accommodation was great! The food was the highlight of the trip. The dinners we were served exceeded expectations! The beaches were amazing. We joined yoga and meditation which we really enjoyed.
The only negative was the lack of good services from the bar staff. Really not up to standard.
