The hotel was perfect for a stay on Zimami, a beautiful island with exceptional snorkelling. it is like swimming in a an aquarium. The staff were always helpful and helped book restaurants and trips. The breakfast was also excellent and the room we had on the first floor was large with great views.

Fantastic place, hosts are so wonderful, we got caught by massive storm while being at Furuzamami and had to leave bikes from Yenn's Marina there due to heavy conditions, as were offered a ride by car by some locals, hosts pick the bikes later by themselves. Tastefull breakfast and just two houses away from very good restaurant, rooms are very clean and spacious.
Thank you for your hospitality.

Easy check in and extremely comfortable beds! Spacious room, friendly staff. Lots of amenities like toothbrush, razor etc. provided. The island was not busy because the weather was not optimal so I can't say what the noise from the bar is like normally.

Very nice location with beautiful beach, convenient shuttle service from port, friendly personnel, tasty food in restaurant.
We got to see turtles at Ama Beach which was wonderful.
We got to see turtles at Ama Beach which was wonderful. We also rented an electric ‘car’ for 4 hours ($50) and were able to ride around the entire island. The accommodation (Blue Marine) was conveniently located and the breakfast and dinner (included in our arrangement) were top-notch. We especially appreciated the delicious fresh sashimi each evening with our meal. Taguchi-san created a great variety of delectable meals.

Take food with you if you are going off-season!!!!
It’s very difficult to find food. There are two small stores selling snacks/ beer but that’s about it. Oh, the fresh seafood takeaway place is open early and sells very delicious ( and huge) onigiri plus fried fish ( ONE PIECE=¥100). There’s nothing else open in the morning.

better beaches than Aka and that Tokashiki for a normal...
better beaches than Aka and that Tokashiki for a normal beach use. For diving perhaps Aka is better
Port should have more and cleaner facilities for the travellers
300 yen for a 7 minute ride from the port to the beach in a crowded old bus without air condition sounds like a great business for the service operator.

Loved Zamami.
Loved Zamami. Furuzamami had the most amazingly clear water and coral. Village has a nice feel with many restaurant options. Be sure to reserve as we saw many people being turned away as Restaurants were full. We liked Zamami more than Tokashiki. We did diving with JoyJoy who were great with our 12 year old son who had never dived before.
The property was well located, a close few minute walk to the port, impeccably clean, and very reasonably priced. It was the owners that made it very special, they conducted fantastic tours and trips of all kinds. I did a snorkeling tour, which was Exceptional, better than snorkeling Hawaii. They really know this island, and work hard to make sure every guest has a peek, enjoyable experience. I loved Zamami Island, it was super easy to get around, and very chill. Fantastic experience, and this guesthouse has my highest recommendation.
If you're heading to Zamami for its nature and snorkeling and you're not really fussed about a smaller room or about sharing a bathroom, Okinawa Resort might be a very good choice! We stayed at the east site, with a handful of rooms (with private AC), a fully stocked shared kitchen, a shared bathroom with multiple showers and toilets, and a fantastic shared terrace with table and bathtub. The owner is very kind and super friendly, picked us up from the harbor on arrival and also gave us a lift there on departure. Would love to be back!
Wow.
What an amazing couple of days.
The service was amazing and made the accomodation feel like home. The breakfast was very tasty and different each day (see photos).
The hotel is very close to ama beach where you can swim with the turtles.
The hotel also has a restaurant - my favourite was the fried tuna cheeks. But it was all beautiful and cooked right infront of you by Miyahira
I would highly recommend this to anybody who wants a home from home.
Thank you so much for an unforgettable couple of days

Everything! Location is lovely it’s just 2 mins walk to Ama beach, perfect sunset beach and for turtle spotting! The tatami room smells so lovely and is super clean. Strong and silent AC, quiet room, and the shared bathrooms are super clean! Honestly the most clean stay on the Kerama Islands. I especially love the warm hospitality and dinner was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend dinner in the minshuku. I’d definitely come back!
This is THE place to stay in Zamami! It is clean, close to the beach and the food is amazing! But most of all, Miyahira-San and his wife are wonderful hosts! They took such good care of us and went above and beyond our expectations! So friendly, professional and helpful, I highly recommend staying here or at least going to dinner here!
Miyahira-San was a chef in Tokyo for decades, this was by far the best food we had all week!
Fantastic place, hosts are so wonderful, we got caught by massive storm while being at Furuzamami and had to leave bikes from Yenn's Marina there due to heavy conditions, as were offered a ride by car by some locals, hosts pick the bikes later by themselves. Thank you for your hospitality.
The location is very close to the port and walking distance to everything you need nearby. The staff was very accommodating. We arrived on the morning Queen Zamami and he let us check in early. He gave a very tasty recommendation for dinner and used Google translate to help with our low level of speaking Japanese.
A nice guesthouse on Zamami island. Conveniently located - just few minutes walk from the harbour and a little bit longer to both beaches. Plenty of restaurants and bars in proximity.
The owner of the place speaks good English and is super helpful. There is also a possibility of renting a snorkel set.
The breakfast and dinners each day were delicious and freshly cooked. The hosts were extremely nice and accommodating, from always re-filling our glasses to picking us up from the ferry port. Aka Island was a beautiful getaway, and the lodging was the perfect place to enjoy it!
We were happy to find out that we were picked up and dropped off at the ferry. The meals were spectacular! We were not expecting such well prepared meals and service. The owners and staff were so extremely kind and helpful in directing us the best places on island!
Staff doesn't speak english, but Is very understandable. She offered us a lot of services and was very polite and kind. Position is wonderful, just in front of the beach and 3 minutes walking by the port.
You can use hotel facilities also after check-out
the staff! some of the most hospitable hosts I’ve ever had! so nice and helpful!
we got it last minute with low expectations, but now this will be our first choice for zamami! so much better than AMA beach cabins!
Very helpful staff and good enough facilities, close to all interesting beaches, little cafés and lookouts. This is a fantastic island, perfect getaway to many other gorgeous islands. Their EVs are a great plus.
It was close to restaurants. The hotel had bicycles and electric cars to rent. The breakfast was good. A rack with fresh towels was in the hallway and it was easy to get fresh towels.
