Auberge Amanohashidate, hotel in Miyazu

Set in Miyazu, within 800 metres of Amanohashidate Beach and 500 metres of Chionji Temple, Auberge Amanohashidate offers accommodation with a restaurant and free WiFi as well as free private parking...

Even though the single room was with shared toilet, there was a sink in the room, which was convenient for brushing teeth and washing the face. The shared toilets were clean. For people too shy to use the public bath at the hotel next door, there is a shower room at the first floor next to the washing machines.

Genmyoan, hotel in Miyazu

Located on a hilltop, Genmyoan boasts Japanese rooms with magnificent Amanohashidate and ocean views.

From the moment you arrive at the front gate, till u walk into the foyer area , and looking to the left where the lounge area is , the big window/balcony area— you see the postcard view , right there. Stunning. The view , the rooms, the meals, onsen were all very good. Staff very nice and helpful. On the day we left they still gave us a token/pass for their carpark and cafe at the main tourist area. 10/10 . Would really want to visit again.

Lots of tourists on holidays but pretty peaceful on normal days. The beach was great but I think they limit the days you can swim. Nice stroll along the sandbar. Amanohashidate is the main thing, there's nothing much to do in Ine aside from taking the boat tour. It's probably best to take the tour that starts from Amanohashidate and goes straight to Ine if you want to save time.

Location is a tad out of the way but was ok even while dragging a large suitcase along. There are no staff and this is a self-check-in and check-out hotel, and there are no facilities either, but the room is very spacious and well-equipped. Getting from here to Amanohashidate is easy and there are some great restaurants within walking distance (though it is a bit of a walk). Room was very clean and definitely great value for money versus most of the hotels in the area.

The room was super beautiful and clean. Although Miyazu isn’t at the heart of the tourist attractions, taking a short distance bus would get you to Amanohashidate easily. There is also a bus taking you to Ine right in front of the hotel. The hotel is in front of a supermarket and near McDonald’s if you’re in desperate need for food at odd hours. we recommend going to Daimon Udon restaurant close by as this is the best udon place we’ve ever been to.

The place is really close to the touristic places. There is a beautiful view of the sea. I had a room all for myself (although I reserved a bed in a dormitory). The room was big, comfortable and had a very great veranda. The bath was perfect ! As well as the dinner and the breakfast : the owner of the hotel wants to make his guest discover the authentic japanese home food and is a good cook ! Moreover the staff is fantastically friendly !!

I liked that the hotel had a Sento and a restaurant. The restaurant was very good. They had a lot of fresh and authentic food options. I could see a little bit of the bay from my window. The bed was super big and comfortable. Even though the staff was only speaking japanese, they were helpful and we could communicate. They were open minded. For more complicated requests on my side I used a translation app and this worked totally fine.

Great service, very clean room, tasty food. Room was spacious enough for two persons. Amazing view of the turning bridge which I loved!! Located at the centre of Amanohashidate, not too far away from the train station, offer free parking if you are driving. So value for money, we will be back.

The bed-the most comfortable bed that I had in Japan within this budget range. I had the best night of sleep. Also its open style kitchen area with free coffee/tea and baluda oven toaster on the lobby floor was convenient to use.
