We stayed for a 2nd night and had to check out of 1 room and into the 2nd and the 2nd room was nicer. It had 2 separate single beds (bigger) 2 pillows each and more space in the room. We much preferred that for 1 night.

The room was beautifully decorated and very different. Lots of facilities in the room and you can use a lovely lounge on the second floor with free drinks. Location is perfect, right in the shopping streets with plenty going on. Breakfast is good value but the restaurant is very small with closely packed tables

It was so good we extended our stay one more night, very close to kyoto station, the breakfast was superb!! Love the cheese french toast, it’s now become a core memory. The staff, very accommodating. Especially the male receptionist on Friday morning and the staff from the restaurant who went out of her way to get me a takeaway box despite how busy it was. Thank you so much! I now love Japan so much because of the Japanese hospitality. Never experienced something like service before. Arigato!!
