Hotel Pinon - Adult Only, hotel in Kai

Hotel Pinon - Adult Only is set in Kai, within 44 km of Lake Kawaguchi and 46 km of Fuji-Q Highland.

Included breakfast. Very clean. Nice staff. Amazing facilities. Safe parking. One of the nicest places that I stayed in when in Japan. Not a far drive from the famous Sukura tree. I didn’t realise what sort of hotel this was when I was booking it, but after finding out I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived.

Hotel Kaminoyu Onsen, hotel in Kai

Boasting various hot spring baths and a Mount Fuji view, Hotel Kaminoyu Onsen offers massage services, karaoke facilities and free lobby Wi-Fi.

Maybe the price due to the weakness of yen. However, if/when yen gets stronger, this point becomes questionable.

Dormy Inn Kofu Marunouchi, hotel in Kai

Dormy Inn Kofu Marunouchi is situated in Kofu, within 1.7 km of Yuki Park Zoo and 3.1 km of Kai Zenko-ji Temple.

This was one of the more comfortable beds we've slept in on our trip across Japan. The extra facilities like massage chairs, free little icecreams, free noodles were all nice extras.also we really appreciated the room's view.

We decided to stay in Kai because of its proximity to the nearby Shosenkyo gorge and the (disappointing) Kaminoyu onsen. Next time I'd chose staying in Kofu: there is much more to see (temples, castles...) and places to eat - and it is actually easier to get to the gorge by public bus (one has to take a train from Kai back to Kofu for that!)
