The view of the castle was amazing. Right next to the station and convenient to shops. We had fantastic okonomiyaki just on the other side of the train station. There is also a small bakery that is worth trying.

Its a great option in Tomonoura as it is in town rather than down the road, so everything is walkable. Shuttle service from Fukuyama station is very convenient. This is supposedly a thematic hotel meant for couples(hint). There are costumes for rent at the check-in lobby. However, it is also perfect for my stay. The room is incredibly spacious. The bed is comfortable, there's even a sofa and table. The shower is also big, with a Jacuzzi. It took me 10min to cycle from Fukuyama train station, normal travelers should consider local transportation. There's a huge Sports Depo and dining outlets within walking distance. I would consider staying here for the space in my future visits.
The breakfast buffet provided (which is not free, just for clarity) was plenty good, and even though the breakfast buffet at the hotel itself was closed for two of the three days of my stay, they allowed me to use my breakfast tickets at the next door hotel, which I guess has the same owner. The location was excellent, right next Fukuyama station and thus downtown Fukuyama. Having the Fukuyama Castle park a block away was a nice plus. The hotel and my room were clean; nothing to complain about regarding cleanliness.
Very convenient if you're going to see Fukuyama Castle or want to be close to the station to go via bus to Tomonoura for example. There is a mall nearby, a traditional 50s, 60s type shopping quarter too, and Fukuyama Station itself has a lot of stores and restaurants, so you can get anything you need. There is also a full grocery store on the B1 floor a couple of steps from the hotel, and an Animate as well for anyone interested in Japanese manga and gamer culture.
Larger than average room with very comfy beds, decent breakfast as part of the price. Less than 5 minutes drive from the JR station and with adequate free parking, this hotel was a hidden gem. Although the staff spoke no English there was nothing that Google Translate and a smile couldn't overcome. We were the only westerners in the hotel, seems like this one's a locals-only secret, but it shouldn't be.

This hotel was not like ordinary city hotel but more like apartment. Room was small but newly refurbished and cozy. Location was reasonably close from the train station and the area around was peaceful. Breakfast was simple - sandwich, fresh juice and coffee, it was good enough for me. I didn't see any negative point with this hotel.
The staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming, and the food was absolutely incredible. Even though we are vegetarian, they were able to accomodate us with what was probably the best meal of our trip. The view out the window was also amazing. This is one of the best hotels I've ever visited!
Excellent value for money. Rooms are clean and there is an onsen in the hotel. Tons of amenities are provided including pillows. Also free unlimited coffee. Breakfast in the morning is a great selection. Location is perfect being right next to the JR station.
Close to the train station and restaurants. would like to explore the local area next time I visit. The castle looks beautiful. The room was large for Japan and comfortable. Breakfast was okay but the hotel restaurant was very good
It's just a few minutes walk from Fukuoka JR. it is attached to decent coffee/cake house. Very quiet and pleasant. I can see a gorgeous view of famous Fukuyama castle. Staff are efficient and friendly.
Stayed there for one night. the front desk is on the 8th floor. The location is very good , with lots of restaurants and shops around, friendly stuff . Nice sight from the hotel room .
The location of the hotel is excellent being very close to main rail and bus station
Close to a shopping mall and tourist information centre
Taxi services operate outside the hotel
It’s a love hotel, so it allows a lot of privacy and space, so it can be the most comfortable option for a short stay. The price was fair and the staff really helpful
The place is clean, and the one room bed is quite huge for a dorm style hotel.
You can get a ticket to the sauna only for +550, so it's worth the price
