Unkai no Sato no Yado, hotel in Fuki

Featuring a Japanese garden, Unkai no Sato no Yado is a 35-minute drive from Koyasan Station. This inn offers luggage storage space and a restaurant. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

The host is one of the most welcoming person we have met during our trip in Japan. She came to pick us up later than planned at Koyasan, according to our request. She came with her granddaughter and was very curious and open-minded. She prepared us delicious meals (for the dinner and for the breakfast), she is an excellent cook! She speaks a bit English, sufficiently to communicate and share about life and the Japanese culture. We had a wonderful stay at her place!

Hostel Inn Hashimoto, hotel in Fuki

Situated in Hashimoto, 23 km from Subaru Hall, Hostel Inn Hashimoto features accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar.

I booked a single room, and it was clean and nicely decorated. The owners are very friendly and speak good English. I had originally said I would arrive at 6-7pm, but was delayed and arrived after 8pm. The owner kindly facilitated this for me but it is a small hotel so it is helpful to be accurate with your arrival time.

Sanso Amanosato, hotel in Fuki

Located in Katsuragi, 27 km from Kishi Station, Sanso Amanosato provides accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a bar.

We loved everything: spacious and beautiful bedrooms, excellent food (worth at least one Michelin star) offered by Chef OHIGASHI in parallel of great wines and sake list, 3 five stars private onsen, excellent personalized service, by Micky? and Matsumoto? the international great classy sommelier with a great sense of humour (sorry if i lost your names, please correct me in answer). You really feel more than at home in this unique independent hotel, where the owner has invested heavily to offer the best experience to his guests, in every details and spirit of excellence!

Hounkan, hotel in Fuki

Set in Yoshino, 43 km from Nara Station, Hounkan provides accommodation with a sauna and a public bath. The 2-star ryokan features mountain views and is 39 km from Subaru Hall.

The owner and staff are very kind and caring. The woman who serves the meals was great and took time to help us understand what all the varieties of food were. It is a great traditional japanese inn experience with a nice onsen and good quality meals. The location has great views as well, it would be excellent during cherry blossom season.

The apartment is roomy with two bedrooms, lounge and kitchen . Toilet is separate from the bathroom which is always a bonus ! Car park is right out the front ! Check in was easy, non contact . Convenience stores not far down the road and there is a restaurant on the property which we ate at both nights and was delicious. The village is small, in the forest in a very beautiful place. The real flavor of the Japanese hinterland. Clean air. Everything is very beautiful. The most beautiful thing is the married couple who own this house. They are both wonderful and responsive people. They solve absolutely all the issues that arise. Great workers. Thank you.
