Room was quite comfortable, with the bath/shower being much bigger than expected. The other facilities in the room were nice, such as the fridge and microwave, much bigger room than expected, reminding of a room in a ryokan.
The curtains also provide sufficient darkness to sleep comfortably even after the sun rises.
Was also fairly clean, with seating space in the lobby.
Parking was also decent.

No frills, but we had everything we needed - a self service laundry room with low cost, comfortable room, complete array of loan items such as hangers and free onsite parking. One of few hotels which still made up the room everyday, with the option to not change bedsheets for sustainability. The optional breakfast is great at the cost (Y700 per person during our stay) with a simple buffet spread of mostly Japanese style breakfast items, sausages and so on. Onsite parking seems popular but we were always able to get a spot. Convenient location with a 24 hour chain restaurant across the road, and a decent supermarket plus drugstore that is open till late (10pm) so we could always buy what we needed.
Offering a garden and garden view, Meitei no Yado Hotel Koshien is situated in Fuefuki, 30 km from Lake Kawaguchi and 32 km from Fuji-Q Highland.

Amazing onsen resort. We booked a room with a private bath as we both have tattoos, so using the communal onsens can be tricky. The private rooms are gorgeous. The garden views and private tub are amazing and the traditional Japanese style rooms are so beautiful. The beds were incredibly comfy! Definitely get the full kaiseki style dinner at least one of the nights as it is a beautiful and delicious experience.

There are beautiful ancient temples, wineries with different plans for tasting, onsen, and lovely countryside to hike or walk. There was a lot of fruit and other local specialties - I recommend the Kikyo Shingen Mochi Factory tour (free) and shops. The lunch restaurant there is excellent.
Breakfast at the location was fantastic - Very well done and a definite highlight of the property. The staff did an excellent job ensuring a wide variety of food was available to meet all breakfast desires. We stayed multiple nights and the dinner menu noticeably changed and was different from the other guests that were on their first night's meal. We also had a chance to sample the local specialty of the Kofu region - Houtou udon - without leaving the hotel.
I love the old Japanese style home and it made our vacation wonderful experiencing such authenticity owner is very accommodating and replying every question we have even if his not there. We just a bit sad as we need to spend 1 night 🥰 love to be back and spend more days to see what the town may offer ☺️
The room was very fun and very nice! As a lady I loved how many ammenities there were FOR women. I didnt use all of them (like the lingerie) but the massage chari was a great touch. Never had been in a love hotel before, and the 2000 yen diffrerence for the deluxe room was highly worth it!
Hotel Eldia is adults only. It is very spacious, hygienic, with lots of facilities.
But, and there is a large but: most vistors come for a few ours or a romantic rendez vous.
It is a love hotel. We didn”t realise that when we booked it, but it was a good room.
Location Location Location. The hotel is next to the Train Station, local shopping stores, restaurants and park which was super convenient to get up and just go and do sight seeing in addition it was nice to see a peak of Mt. Fuji in the background.
Great style in this recently renovated traditional Japanese house. Recommended to take half board. We ate so well and the staff was very helpful to guide us. No shops or restaurants within 30 minutes so half board or own food recommend.
The place was a perfect little traditional hotel which exceeded our expectation. Although in a lively city it was a quiet place to rest and to enjoy the comfort of a traditional hotel. This will be my place to be when in Kofu.
Amazing Onsen and Japanese style room
I had to say a big thank you to all the staff as I was late
in arrival but they still came to the station to pick me up
and kept my dinner. really appreciate all the help
A love hotel. Value for money for those staying as tourists. The room is big with lots of free amenities including a bubble bath, sofa and a VOD subscription to watch films on. Free breakfast.
