The hosts were super accommodating and sweet. They were patient and supportive when my plans went skew, giving me a lift from the station and helped me out with planning my itinerary late at night, even supplying an electric bicycle the next day to ensure I could move more freely and safely. Very cute and quiet. They have a little shiba dog called Coro. The host was fantastic, very kind and helpful. She offered to drive us and our luggage to the station so we wouldn’t have to walk.

It's a beautiful place that is best visited during summer where the air is cool and the sun is bright and the fields are lush and welcoming.
I rented an electronic bicycle and loved riding it through the fields of Biei - it was such a beautiful place. The Shirahige waterfall and bluepond is kinda small and far out but still worth taking a look if you are around the area and drive. Public transport to the 2 place are quite terrible because the JR train schedule does not align with the bus timing at all. I will blog and vlog more about my trip on my blog if I have time.

There are so many scenic lookouts and tourist places in the area. Farms are absolutely beautiful and driving on a road to mount Tokachi (Blue pond is also on the way) has good view as well.
Cycling is also nice in summer season, but I recommend to rent a car if you are with kids or elder person since there are so many hills to climb :)
Excellent location by the falls and the Blue Pond, easy access, as well as for visiting the area. We had a car but if you request ahead of time they have a shuttle. This is an older traditional inn with a great open-air bath. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, all works well. Staff is friendly and helpful, spoke some English. Price is reasonable. Food was ok.
We were a little worried because of negative reviews but then it was a good surprise! We would definitely go back and recommend this hotel.
We stayed one night at the villa one night at the main building. If you are a large group consider taking the villa, the main building has better view though. They picked and dropped us up from Biei station. We did take the taxi one time. It costs around 1200¥. The location is wonderful, specially to enjoy sunset. They have free bicycle which you can borrow to ride around. The host lady super nice and very accomodating.
We had a great stay! The hosts are really friendly and gave tips about walking routes and onsen. The breakfast is served with a lot of love. The guesthouse has everything you need and is close to the Biei blue pond and Daisetsuzan National Park. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby. It is best to rent a car. I can only recommend this guesthouse!!
It was fairly new and a good cycle to the attractions of Biei to the northwest including amazing pizza at Italian Cafe Abete—highly recommend. The milk and bread that was included in the price were nice (but given the high room price something like this at least should be offered.)
House really clean. Close to shops, and Biei station. Centralized stay if you want to cover Furano and Asahikawa as well. Checkin process went well and instruction given also clear. Owner also very responsive with the query. Will come and stay here again if i visit Biei next time!
Clean and comfortable room, includes parking right next to the building (further, at the station, in the winter due to snow, apparently), includes a kitchenette and lounge area. 7-11 around the corner. Self check in and self checkout are simple and instructions are clear.
The hotel is close to the station and right beside of Tourist information center, where you can book various activities for the day.

If you are hesitating, stop and go book this stay! The apartment was very cozy, with a lot of space and pretty central to Biei. What made things exceptional were the lovely hosts. The hospitality and food was fantastic. Keep a little room for ice cream!
Lovely hotel and valuable price. Safe for stay.Shuttle bus from the hotel is very comfortable. Lovely staff and the diner is very incredible. Recommend to stay 10/10 score. I’m so pleased to stay just only one night.

The apartment was large and very comfortable and nicely furnished. The kitchen had every appliance you could want including a microwave and rice cooker. A great value and good location in Biei.

It’s within a walking distance to the Shirahige Falls and bus stop. Hotel provides a night tour to the Blue Pond which was very nice and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were also great!!
The place is really pretty and exceptionally clean. The hosts were very welcoming. About 6 minutes by car from Biei station. Would love to stay here again if I visit Biei in summer.
