The location is quite convenient, there are many bars, restaurants, convenience stores and a supermarket nearby. The next train station is only a five-minutes walk away, but if you are using the Japan Rail Pass, be aware that this station is Hanshin Amagasaki and not JR Amagasaki.
The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast offered many choices, but the breakfast room was quite crowded at times.

Restaurants of different flavors inside the hotel for us to pick. The location is not too distant from the Hanshin Amagasaki station by walk. Room interior is overall clean and well maintained. This is probably the most cost-effective hotel in the area given the cheapness.

I did not have breakfast at the hotel. I chose not to include breakfast with my stay, due to health conditions. I have to have a select diet. The bed was firm and everything worked.

This is a love hotel, but don't let it put you off. The rooms had fridges, microwaves, Aircon, large beds and as much smellies as you could wish for. Our jacuzzi bath with colours and room sound system was excellent. We did not avail ourselves of the soft porn, sex toys (purchase) or rental girls costumes, but then if you like.... Our room had a great city view and was really quiet. The breakfast was minimal but delivered to the door.

Amagasaki is a great 'real' town so close to Osaka, but with its own character. We saw a diverse mix of people from all walks of life. Working class, business people, skateboarders, old people playing ukelele in the park. There is a nice old shopping street which is not to be missed. Some good old 'Showa' era coffee shops. We didn't get to do half the things we planned. Will be back!

Amagasaki is a superb base for visiting Kansai: it is much quieter than Osaka, Kyoto or even Kobe; it is also much cheaper; and it has superb public transport connections. It is an industrial city, so there are no substantial tourist sites within it, but it has fine shops and good restaurants, and the people are consistently very friendly and helpful.
