Amagasaki Plaza Hotel Hanshin Amagasaki, hotel in Amagasaki

Amagasaki Plaza Hotel Hanshin Amagasaki is located a 7-minute train ride from Osaka Station and Umeda Station.

The location is quite convenient, there are many bars, restaurants, convenience stores and a supermarket nearby. The next train station is only a five-minutes walk away, but if you are using the Japan Rail Pass, be aware that this station is Hanshin Amagasaki and not JR Amagasaki. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast offered many choices, but the breakfast room was quite crowded at times.

Open from November 2017, Y's HOTEL Hanshin Amagasaki Ekimae is located in Amagasaki. Amagasaki Station is a 2-minute walk from the property. Guests can reach Osaka Umeda Station in 7 minutes by train....

The breakfast was excellent, and other facilities like the communal bath and laundry were also excellent. The location was excellent too as it was close to Hanshin Amagasaki station. It's close to a very good shopping arcade.

Ramada Encore by Wyndham Amagasaki, hotel in Amagasaki

I did not have breakfast at the hotel. I chose not to include breakfast with my stay, due to health conditions. I have to have a select diet. The bed was firm and everything worked.

Carnet (Adult Only), hotel in Amagasaki

Designed for adults only, the love hotel Carnet offers accommodation in Amagasaki. Free private parking is available on site.

This is a love hotel, but don't let it put you off. The rooms had fridges, microwaves, Aircon, large beds and as much smellies as you could wish for. Our jacuzzi bath with colours and room sound system was excellent. We did not avail ourselves of the soft porn, sex toys (purchase) or rental girls costumes, but then if you like.... Our room had a great city view and was really quiet. The breakfast was minimal but delivered to the door.

Amagasaki is a great 'real' town so close to Osaka, but with its own character. We saw a diverse mix of people from all walks of life. Working class, business people, skateboarders, old people playing ukelele in the park. There is a nice old shopping street which is not to be missed. Some good old 'Showa' era coffee shops. We didn't get to do half the things we planned. Will be back!

Amagasaki is a superb base for visiting Kansai: it is much quieter than Osaka, Kyoto or even Kobe; it is also much cheaper; and it has superb public transport connections. It is an industrial city, so there are no substantial tourist sites within it, but it has fine shops and good restaurants, and the people are consistently very friendly and helpful.
