The accommodation lies inbetween two main traffic spots, Shizuoka Station and Shin Shizuoka. That was very helpful for exploring. Because of that you will find a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. But one is also quickly in a calm neighbourhood. In the night it was reasonably quite and I could sleep with an opened window. Of course you still can hear some city sounds. The staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast was Japanese style and delicious and satisfying. You could see the mountains from some of the higher level rooms.
