We stayed here for one night, and it was really pleasant! We were picked up by the hotel's shuttle service from the train-station, which went smoothly. The room (japanese style), was really spacious! Staff were very helpful and friendly, and dinner and breakfast were excellent. I requested gluten-free meals and they were able to accomodate, which we greatly appreciated!

Incredible once-in-a-lifetime experience staying in a well-preserved Minshuku along old Nakasendo. The place was clean and beautiful with shoji doors, tatami mats, a wooden bath and many historical ornaments. The host was incredibly pleasant and communicated with us via google translate. The location is on the edge of town in a nice size home with full amenities for a family. The host was wonderful and she also runs a restraurant a couple of doors away, which was very nice.
