The site should update the age of teenagers to end at 13. After 13 teens are charged as adults. Having this info in the details is not enough. One should not be able to add an older than 13 yr old as a child.

We had a kitchen so we made most of our meals.
We had a kitchen so we made most of our meals. That being said, groceries are not cheap in Jamaica!
Amazing seafood meal at Bashment bar and grill, a little shack on discovery bay beach!!! Don’t let the place fool you, it was the best seafood I have had near Runaway bay for a decent price.
Driving is not for the weak in Jamaica, it is a busy road often many delays and can take some time to get to where you are going.
But overall, such a beautiful country with the best people.

I liked the view, the general structure of the property. I didn't like how lazy some staff seemed, specifically the person to whom complaints are filed. Attitudes of some female staff needs work.

Check-in was horrendous, it took them 1-2 hours to get us to our room. Be prepared for a reception that is not ready for guests and were almost surprised we turned up despite paying for the entire stay in advance. Fortunately, I had printed a hard copy of the booking otherwise I'd be spending the night sleeping on the beach. Phone the hotel directly was futile as they never pick up the phone. Surprisingly this was the same from the actual room. Security is pretty hostile to paying guests and if you have a car prepare for no parking spaces if you even get let in. On Fridays there is a Sound System outside the hotel playing at 80-90 decibels and the hotel does nothing about it go luck trying to get some sleep. The hotel has an empty disco playing at around 70 decibels till 2am every night. By the way noise above 70 dB over a prolonged period of time may start to damage your hearing. Loud noise above 120 dB can cause immediate harm to your ears. Be prepared to supply your own beach towels. Room towel and bed sheets are not changed daily. The was built in 1958 and the room safe is from the late 80s. Food is acceptable but they seldom have the national dish of Ackee and Salt Fish and the bar runs out of Wray and Nephew white rum by noon daily.
Food was lovely, I had breakfast and dinner at the hotel each night and it was Jamaican cuisine freshly cooked and tasty. All the staff was friendly, got good advice about avoiding tours and just hiring taxi drivers through the hotel. The lady I dealt with most for meals and everything was immeasurably chatty and accommodating. There's a pool with sunbeds, the rooms are comfy and the room I had had a little balcony. I'd happily stay again, hotel felt cosy, comfortable and secure. Good location for the beach and tourist attractions
The property is amazing… The rooms were clean and spacious and we all enjoyed our stay ‼️ Nora and Shadrock made sure that we were ok throughout our stay … Nora’s customer services was top tier, I have never been graced with this type of customer service and I am grateful that I was introduced to such a beautiful soul. Shadrocks cooking we on point I had to request him for the other day ‼️‼️ The location is ideal for a group get away and I would definitely visit the property again♥️‼️
The breakfast is amazing! It is so nice that Bailey caters to your taste and is considerate about allergies.
Also the view from the roof terrace is lovely, especially during sunrise/set. We encourage all guests to eat up there at least once.
We also enjoyed our morning jogs to Runaway Bay beach.
The hosts were exceptional, apart from the amazing breakfast, the conversation and overall hospitality was spot on.
We will definitely stay here again.
Most of the staff were very nice, some were not. I had to change rooms due to door not working and having multiple issues with the room. The second room was amazing. My children enjoyed themselves. The facilities were amazing including location. I would say the breakfast and lunch is nice, however dinner is hit and miss. Overall, I had an amazing time at the hotel and would definitely be revisiting with my family next year.
We loved it the environment was awesome, the rooftop view which we were told about upon arrival was not visited (we forgot) but Mr. Bailey reminded us just b4 we left well he asked if we saw it..we went immediately and man it was breathtaking the view, it overlooked the ocean plus the vegatation ( fruit trees) the colour contrast the decor the space man we r going back!
The staff was great! Breakfast was authentic Jamaican, served hot and in large portions. The pool was nice, clean & fun. The balcony served up an unexpectedly beautiful sunset.
Beachside chairs and rocks helped to provide a tranquil, relaxed ambience. The resort was secure and access was restricted to guests & their guests only. Overall, it was worth it. Will return.
The hosts run a tight ship at the garden apartment. I liked the location overall. The property was clean and I felt very safe as a solo female traveler. The apartment was cute and comfy. I also liked the outdoor garden area. The hosts were friendly and helpful. I also loved the food at the Cardiff Hall Resort and Spa 👍🏽
Snorkeling reef 20’ from shore. They have snorkel equipment. Clean place. Attentive. Beautiful gardens. Beach and pool. Safe to sit there even at midnight in gated community w/guard. Near Cardiff Hall/Flavours beach. Stove, fridge, balcony.
Everything, esp the beautiful welcome with a cool towel, drink offered and a guided tour toward my room regarding what the hotel has to offer during my stay. This was spectacular for me, that's when I felt this is a vacation.....Lol
We really enjoyed our stay the property had everything we needed very spacious nice and clean, the host was lovely made us feel very welcome and comfortable and we would definitely come back again
The people were very kind ans we even got a chef for our breakfast and dinner
The food was amazing
Rohan helped us get around when needed
All by all one of the best places to stay at
Beach Access was excellent and the staff was amazing, not to mention Jaana, one of the best hosts I have had since staying at properties. I would recommend this property to others.
I loved the staff! They were kind, helpful, and pleasant. The settings, especially the individual cottages made it easier to socialize and enjoy the facilities.
