Gorgeous resort located out in the countryside. The people working at the hotel were exceptionally kind to us. We had booked double rooms which were probably the smallest rooms we had anywhere in Italy, but were perfectly comfortable. The pool is gorgeous, and the staff were kind enough to lend us bikes that we could use to ride to a terme that had a lunchtime restaurant.

The staff were exceptional. The reception staff were able to source taxis to take us to our destination and also bring us back to the hotel. Breakfast staff brought their own cooked cakes in for us to enjoy. A real gem of a hotel.

One of the best hotels we stayed in Italy. Located outside Viterbo in beautiful area. The structure is dated, but in good condition. There is a nice pool and very good restorant. The room was spacious and we had a big terace.

What a jewel of a place. We had wanted to come here for some time. Such magnificent buildings and interesting architecture. Very good and reasonably priced restaurants. We ate at L'Archetto, Cuatro Stagione, Tre Re.

Viterbo is a beautiful, charming little town, with some interesting tourist attractions, excellent bars and restaurants, and amazing thermal bath facilities close by in the area. Recommend having a car and visiting the thermal baths, they have day and evening options.

a quaint town that seems to have frozen in time. it is a lovely but slow paced place and the roads are really tiny to the point where driving is large car is not recommended. people are friendly and there are a lot of teen agers and university students. you can find cute shops and lovely dining options. unfortunately, i didn't get to tour the town but i heard that there are interesting places to visit.

It's an historic walled city with lovely tiny streets to wander around. The history of the Etruscans is very interesting.
I found a small trattoria and ate very well for 20 Euro - so I went there the next day.

Viterbo has a very large historic area, quite a lot of which is either pedestrianised or restricted to local traffic. It has a lot of parking areas outside the historic area, and there are elevators from two of them to the edge of the centre. It is not only an interesting place to walk around, but the countryside around is well worth investigating.
We had a great stay at Villa Lante Viterbo Apartment. Contact with the host was easy and fast. Beds are comfortable and apartment is very clean. Free parking is only few mins from the apartment by walk so you can easily park your car. It is very close to Rome by car so it was a great location to stay. Apartment is fully equipped, you have everything you need. We had a wonderful stay and totally recommend for those who are planning to visit that part of Italy :)

Great location in centre of medieval town. Lots of cafes, bars and restaurants on your door step. Wonderful host who could not have been more helpful. Comfortable room. Viterbo is an interesting historic town which can be used as a base from which to explore the surrounding area which is rich in etruscan history and geothermal spas.
Beautiful tower in the center of Viterbo, clean and cozy. Very friendly and helpful hosts! Tea and coffee, brioche and cookies, milk and water were present in the kitchen. Lovely entrance up a the stairs full of flowers!
Great location in the heart of the centro storico of Viterbo. The hosts are very helpful and friendly and they have made my stay super comfortable. Breakfast was well prepared with plenty of fresh fruits.
