The hotel is beautiful, my room had a stunning view of the lake and breakfast was delicious. The friend I was travelling with lost his phone on the way to Vetbania, very upsetting. The hotel staff were so helpful, went beyond the call of duty to help him locate it. Their service was exceptional.

Breakfast was excellent value for money with a good choice of food. The hotel is very well located along the lakeside in the close to the centre of town and the ferry terminal.

The hotel was perfect, high standard all round. customer service was unreal, never had a better experience in my life. I left a very small and expensive item by mistake, contacted the hotel a couple days later. Turns out the cleaner found it, and they arranged a courier to collect it and get it back to me in the UK.
Not only is this hotel in a great spot, with a vibrant, great looking room and amazing view of the lake - but it was also one of the more affordable choices in the area. This also shows you can trust the staff on duty. I will be returning for sure if I ever come back to this part of Italy.

A very pretty and picturesque part of the world. Easy access by boat to all the major towns and islands. Go south for one hour and you are in Milan. Go north for one hour and you are in the Swiss Alps. Lovely place.

We stayed in Intra, a smaller district / town part of Verbania. The town was great; it had shops, supermarkets, cultural activities, a small beach, great nightlife atmosphere with restaurants and bars. It felt safe to walk around at night. We did not like the busy main traffic road crossing right through the town. That was definitely the spoiler for us.
Beware of expensive restaurants serving poor quality food 'for the tourists'. Better buy food yourself and cook at your apartment if possible! Great quality Italian products at a third of the price. Great ferry trips departing often. Beware of the islands excursion, took forever to get to Isola Bella and definitely a bit of a tourist trap, a very beautiful one though!. Great hiking and biking excursions, just do a little research and there's loads of amazing places to see. Huge market on Saturday. Leather goods for all tastes. Be careful again, they will try and charge you heaven and earth for cheese, salamis, fruit etc. Otherwise, Fabulous!

Verbania is a good base for exploring the sights of Lake Maggiore. It has great facilities and is the starting point for boats and ferries on the lake. Verbania is attractive, with a pretty waterfront, a lovely old town and lots of shops and places to eat.

Verbania is a beautiful city on Lago Maggiore. There is a free market every Saturday, with good bargains and excellent fresh fruit and vegetables. The cathedral on San Vittore is a must see. And the Botanical Gardens: Villa Taranto is a great place to sit and enjoy the views of the Lake and Nature's Treasures.

Relaxing setting with lots of options. Visiting the beautiful islands on Lago Maggiore and Villa Taranto botanical gardens were highlights for us. The busy weekly market on Saturday brought out the tourists and visitors. Lots of options for restaurants in the town.

I've been a regular visitor to the area for 40 years and I can say things have not deteriorated there like in many other places, on the contrary if anything the overall impression of the place has improved and is more attractive today - definitely no tourist trap.
I cannot rate this property highly enough! The room had an amazing view of Lago Maggiore and was located in a quiet place in the small faction, Tre Ponte (Verbania). The host is very attentive without being invasive. The breakfast and amenities in the room were overly generous. She even provided a little Kinder Joy for my son - very thoughtful! I hope to return to Lago Maggiore soon and when I do, I will be staying here. Keywords - view, spacious room, clean, quiet
A very good hotel, great atmosphere, beautiful decor, clean, nice staff and a super location right at the lake in the historic center of Verbania with lots of nice terraces and views over Lago Maggiore. You are close to the Lake but you have also great access to the surrounding mountains. The hotel offers an extensive breakfast and dinner. Special thanks to Alessio, who is very friendly and always helpful to the guests during breakfast and dinner!
The apartment is easily accessible by car and closed to the attractions of the region: Valgrande, Verbania or other towns along the Lago Maggiore coast. Apartment very functional, parking accessible via a narrow side road, comfortable place for a family (2 adults with 2 children). In a 15min-walk you can reach a small and nice beach of the lake. Also very good support from our host, Elisa.

The bungalows are clean and you feel the owners do their best to maintain the property.
We didn’t try the food, served in the canteen but the coffee is very good.
The pool is well maintained, though not heated. So during our stay is April, we couldn’t enjoy it.

The apartment is beautiful with a fantastic view and perfect location to access the center of Intra and the ferries and buses. The locked parking lot is a nice perk. The beds were comfortable and the white comforters were wonderful for the chilly nights. The little study area was good for IT setup. The elevator was seriously appreciated. Nicoletta made the check-in welcoming and easy.
We had a 2nd floor room with a long balcony overlooking the lake. Our view was utterly stunning.
The hotel was opposite the Pallanza boat stop so perfect for visiting the Islands and Stresa.
The restaurant was lovely, however, being very close to the Piazza there were many restaurants and trattorias in a few minutes walk. Wonderful promenade to walk along in the evenings.
great location for exploring lake Maggiore with the ticket office for boat trips just across the road, we’ve arrived on Thursday so was lucky to visit the market set up directly in front of the hotel, fantastic food and excellent service from Alessio and team in the Restaurant
I liked the location and the kindness of the staff. They were very quick in answering all of our questions and they allowed us to work in the hotel garden after checking out. The breakfast was awesome and the room was clean and comfortable. Definitely recommended.

The hotel has a early 20th century charm to it and feels like a movie set. The location is central to Verbania on a pleasant side street. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I ate dinner and breakfast and everything was good.
