The room was extremely comfortable to meet our needs but was smaller than we expected. A little more space within the bedroom and certainly the bathroom would have been welcomed. Bed comfy and beautiful linen.
The staff were most welcoming and helpful. Food and service excellent

The town of Sorrento has gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque architecture, and a big variety of restaurants, shops and cafés. Sorrento is by far the best place to stay on the Amalfi Coast. It is easy to navigate, walk, and most of all easier on the wallet. It has so many restaurants and wonderful shops. You can visit the other cities by car. We rented a Vespa and cruised everywhere along the Amalfi Coast. It was the best experience. Sorrento has wonderful sunsets so you aren't missing out on those "Amalfi Sunsets". I must say Sorrento is a hidden treasure. By far my favorite.

This was my second time to Amalfi Coast, hadn't visited Sorrento. I am so glad I did, it was amazing. The main street was pedestrian friendly, great restaurants and shopping, short walk to train and port to take the ferry. I would go back and stay there the whole time. The terrain was little flatter than other areas so good for walking.

There's so much to see and do in Sorrento and it's easy to get to the Amalfi Coast, Capri, Pompei and Capri from there. We found Sorrento to be very safe. Prices were a little bit more than they are away from tourist areas. The eating and drinking options are excellent but note that an intimate meal in Italy usually means sitting in very close proximity to many other strangers, many of whom see no issue blowing their second-hand cigarette smoke in your face. However, we did find a few places that offered more spacious surroundings where these impacts were tolerable. Serving sizes are good and the markups on wines are low.

We loved the views from the town of the ocean, the harbors and the shoreline. The architecture was interesting - I like old brick and stone buildings - and the choice of good restaurants is almost unlimited. and the shopping is abundant. The downtown is large enough to offer variety but small enough to be able to cover it on foot. We also got very good weather in late May.
Sorrento can be very crowded so we are glad we were a bit early for the peak season. We stayed at the Ambassador Hotel which was enough off the beaten path to avoid the large crowds while still being near a number of restaurants and a reasonable walk to downtown.
Sorrento was a great place to visit.

Absolutely perfect location to travel in both directions - Pompei/Naples & Amalfi coast.
Loved Sorrento as a location in it self; great place, much more chilled than the busier tourist destinations, fab restaurants, bars, transport, views.
We actually preferred Sorrento to stay compared to other locations on the Amalfi coast.

Sorrento is a beautiful town that time forgot!
Sorrento is a beautiful town that time forgot! So picturesque! Corso Italia is great for restaurants, pubs and people watching. By far my favourite place to stay in the Amalfi Coast region. Transport is great. You can easily access all other places of interest from here. I fell in love with Sorrento immediately. We will return as soon as possible!
Absolutely everything!
we had an incredible stay here, I did not want to leave. check in was easy, host gave us lots of advice as it was our first time in the area, no question or help was too much
lady serving breakfast was fantastic so friendly and helpful
our room was simply incredible, the terrace overlooking the sea was the perfect place for an evening drink or to eat your breakfast. room was spacious and spotless every day
we stayed in a number of hotels in Italy and this was by miles the best!
I liked the bed and pillows, it was super comfortable. The sea view was great. It was a bit noisy in the mornings, but I like it in Italy, it gives the right feeling. I chose this hotel because of the location, I visited Capri and later went to Positano by ferry. They do not write the platform number on the ticket, so ask for it when buying one. It was crowded in the centre, but quiet in the port in the evening which I liked after the busy day. Please note that the hotel has some stairs.
Maria and her staff just do a fabulous job of taking care of guests. We arrived early and they were kind enough to store our bags and allow us to leave our car while we explored Sorrento. The breakfasts are the best we experienced during our two weeks in Italy - just fabulous! Our room and bathroom were both large and very comfortable. The views from the main floor balcony and our room were wonderful. Nearly everything exceeded our expectations. We hope to return again.
Our stay in Hotel Bristol was by far the highlight of our trip to Italy. The staff were incredible and always willing to help, also very friendly which was nice and made us feel welcome. The hotel itself is in a great location - close enough to the centre to be able to enjoy Sorrento by walking but just far enough that you get great ocean views and a bit of quiet to sleep. The whole experience was very relaxing and made our anniversary very special - thank you!
Location - outside the city, so it was quiet, but a very short walk to get there.
Marianna who worked in the breakfast area was very personable and kind.
Pasquale at the front desk was very helpful with recommendations for tours and restaurants.
The shower was large and had good water pressure - hard to find in Italy!
Hotel was clean and we liked having a beach right there. (The beach is rocky - typical for Sorrento. You will want rubber water shoes!)
Anna's place was immaculate, very clean and had All sorts of little amenities. The bed was super comfortable, lots of storage, and the bathroom was gorgeous. The shared kitchen area had sweets, little breads, and the mini fridge had soft drinks, water and wine. It was the only place in Italy that offered these amenities. We had help carrying our luggage up and down the stairs. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone traveling or visiting Sorrento!
This was the best hotel we have stayed at in the past 6 weeks travelling through Turkey, Greece, and Italy.
The simplicity of leaving our car with them for the 4 days we stayed and let the free shuttle bus from the hotel to take us to the centre of town and main train terminal was great.
Staff was awesome and cleanliness was great too.
Probably will never come back to Sorrento but I would highly recommend this hotel to any future travellers.

The Sorrento City Apartment was amazing and perfect for our trip. Our host was incredible and gave us a lot of information on things to do in the area, how to get around, and other attractions we might be interested in. Everything worked perfectly, and everything was nearby. This was the best place we stayed at on our trip to Italy with the most incredible host. I hope someday we’ll be back in Sorrento and can stay here again!
Location wise, it was perfect. 5 minute walk to the centre, 10 minutes to the beach, everything you need is within walking distance.
Communication from the host was top tier, could not have been more accomodating!
The room itself was perfect, so comfortable, spacious, clean, modern and the bathroom was the best we’ve had in Italy.
Cant say enough good things about this place!
Breakfast was disappointing. I booked this hotel based on the reviews of the breakfast provided however this has now changed and instead on breakfast on the common room you get vouchers to a restaurant downstairs who are not friendly and speak little English. Very basic. Good sized room. Had an iron which is rare in Italy!
The place was located in an excellent area and near all the main attractions. Rafaella is one of the most attentive, easygoing and careful people we’ve met during our stay. the breakfast was one of a kind. Bedroom & bathroom were bigger than any hotel you can find in Italy. View of the balcony was impressive. WE LOVED IT !
Maria was an excellent host giving us many fantastic suggestions we got the budget room which was very good for the price you pay the shower was tiny but the rest of the room was excellent I felt very welcome to stay at this hotel and the price was an absolute bargain also the buffet was one of the better ones in Italy
This was the best part of my entire trip to Italy! The apartment was spacious and had everything you would need. Great location right on the beach. Easy to walk to everything. My host Hector was absolutely amazing! He was so helpful with things to do and excursions. I would always stay there if ever in Sorrento again!
This hotel was amazing. It had the best most central location to the city center. The views were breathtaking. All the staff were always helpful and polite, making sure the experience was top notch. The breakfast and staff were the best I had in Italy. The concierge was extremely helpful in securing reservations
Liked everything about the location, apartment and facilities. Its very secure, felt like home and staff is very very helpful. Gave all instructions very clearly and helped me in booking the last moment taxi to airport. Everything was just beautiful. Loved Italy loved Sorrento and people there.
Great location and ample space. Compared to many places in Italy the rooms were large and comfortable and a great change after being in small hotel rooms whilst traveling around Europe for a while.
The location is really good, 10 mins walk from Main Street Sorrento!
The staff were very helpful and really lovely! The pool is nice and the pizza is sooo good, one of the best we had in Italy!
The location was perfect to be close to everything in town. Walking distance to everything. The beds were super comfortable and it was spotless. Our best hotel experience in Italy.
This hotel was perfect for us! Last minute stays. Total 6 days out of our 12 days in Italy. The staff could not have been more helpful. They handle everything for you.
