A great place, close to the water and the ferry station, amidst the village. Well cooled room with all amenities you expect, and good beds. Good sleep until 8am, when the church bells rings - but that's a nice wake-up call for the breakfast, which is more than Italian standard and absolutely sufficient. The staff is very friendly and nice, and the restaurant downstairs offers the best cuisine around - it's full of Italians every night, but fortunately, I didn't hear any of them in the room.

The team at this hotel were by far the most attentive and helpful of any hotel we've stayed at. Very professional but relaxed and friendly too.
Location is stunning, only thing to consider is there aren't really taxis available to get down to the town of Iseo so if you're planning on exploring then renting a car is probably best.
We didn't have our own transport but were very happy to relax around the hotel.
The breakfast room had views out over the lake and clouds that past by we're at our eye level, it was pretty special.
The restaurant food is gorgeous, not the usual pizza / pasta types you see in most Italien places, very fresh and tasty with a nice mix to choose from, we especially loved all the fish dishes and tempura veg.

Araba Fenice is 4-star hotel with swimming pool and gourmet restaurant, situated directly on Lake Iseo. It offers beautiful views from its terraces and many of the rooms.

The location of this hotel is stunning, sitting right on the water's edge at Lake Iseo, a beautiful narrow lake surrounded by impressive mountains. The very best part of the hotel is the wonderful chef at the new Ize Restaurant where we dined superbly on a terrace literally overhanging the water, with stunning views. The exquisite vegetarian menu was without doubt the best we had on our subsequent three week trip to a range of very nice hotels and restaurants.

The restaurant I Giardini Al Lago located in the same block is not to be missed. The waiter knows food and will be happy to share his passion. Some dishes are even prepared at the table.
Albergo Dell'angelo is less fancy but equally. Try ordering a pizza with pineapple (on the menu) and see the chef come out to let you know how he feels about the idea.
If you don't particularly care about food quality, Ristorante Il Gabbiano has a wonderful terrasse, the food, however, is particularly mediocre. We were served reheated previous day lasagna.
