A lovely hotel. All staff were very friendly and helpful. There were wonderful views from our balcony overlooking Lago di Maggiore and the high mountains beyond. The food in the restaurant was first class as it was in the the Bistrot Imbarcado, which the hotel also runs, and where the seating is alongside the lake. A good ferry service from Porto Valtravaglia makes it easy to visit Stresa, the Borromeo Islands and market day in Luino. We will certainly be back!

She provided us with all the information we needed and showed us around. The flat is just perfect! Kitchen is compact and contains everything one needs.
The bed is comfortable, bathroom and terrace are excellent. Location is incredible.

An upgrade to the separate lake view building helped but overall the hotel was a fabulous old style one but with a fastidious approach to detail and dare I say perfection. I was annoyed at first no coffee maker but fantastic coffee was delivered to our room with a smile and at a really low price. The staff were friendly, funny and warm. We'll be back. Oh, I didn't mention the view. Perfect for ferry spotting!

All staff were incredibly service-minded and helped us with everything from changing rooms to vegan breakfast options and the housekeepers had great attention to detail.
The table of snacks in the lobby and the free coffee in the room was much appreciated throughout our stay. The beds were very comfortable and the view from the balconies was amazing. The rooms were sound proofed so we did not notice the noise from the street or other guests.

There are only 8-9 rooms, so it really felt like a boutique hotel. The rooms are beautiful, very luxurious but still cosy and the bed was a dream! The staff were super friendly and helpful.

I liked the location and the kindness of the staff. They were very quick in answering all of our questions and they allowed us to work in the hotel garden after checking out. The breakfast was awesome and the room was clean and comfortable. Definitely recommended.

Loved the location of the Hotel, it was beautifully clean and the staff were excellent. Although the outside of the Hotel is being renovated it did not detract from my stay.
This is a real nice little private house in a very large park style garden property. Freshly rennovated and very stylish setup. Everything was extra ordinary clean, to a level, I have never experienced before. It was fully equipped with everything you need, including supplies for coffee, tee, oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper. We got nice presents for welcome and good bye and in between. I never experienced that level of welcoming and responsiveness and I have stayed in many many hotels over the years. Carlotta, thanks a lot for that!

You can prepare your own breakfast and good choice of super market on lumbardy side of the lake. For transport, there is a bus lines operate between Luino and Varase outside the apartment. You can use ferry either at Porto Valtravaglia or Luino to the otherside of Lake Magiore. Very suitable for those who enjoy hiking and outdoor activities in natural environment.
