So we were driving down from Milan to Nice and looked for an overnight stay hoping not to land in another villa-whatever kind of boring hotel and we discovered a gem! We were offered a clean and spacious room with a seaview, way better than what you expect from a 3-star hotel. We couldn't resist staying a couple more nights as it is an absolute joy of a place.
The team is super friendly and helpful in each and every aspect. They are truly a pleasure to speak with, and everyone helped us with every minor ask we had.
And yeah, his Majesty The Breakfast! It is a golden standart of what a hotel in a small town could offer - crispy croissants with vanilla cream, a decent choice of meat and cheese, freshly prepared scrambled egs, very good coffee to name a few things we loved here.

The building is very modern and new, nice design. Friendly staff. We got the room we booked with lateral sea view, which has both sea view and mountain and town. Asked for higher floor and it was kindly provided.
Great solarium with view and jacuzzi ( could work a bit later too). Amazing breakfast- they had great croissant selection, and it was possible to order coffee from the bar too.
Beach is near and really good. We travelled through Italian Riviera and it was one of the best places we stayed.

Its an excellent place for mountain biking with loads of trails behind the town and way at the top of the surrounding hills. We did different trails almost everyday for two weeks and enjoyed everyone of them. There is plenty of information on Trail Forks and the locals sell a printed trail map. Lots of options for shuttling and good bike shops for repairs and parts. It's very easy to get around the town by bike or on foot. There are plenty of gelato shops to choose from and lots of good restaurants mostly for seafood but also pizza, our favourite. We had nice warm 20-28 deg C weather from late September into early October but would avoid the peak summer months as it maybe too hot for biking but OK for swimming. It's a beautiful town surrounded by beautiful historic villages, olive groves, lovely forest and limestone outcrops and hilltops. Some wonderful places to explore.

Pietra Ligure is a nice and atmospheric village with a piazza, lots of terraces, restaurants and gelaterias. It is not overcrowded and has affordable prices. The highway is nearby but out if sight and there are many activities within half an hour drive, both maritime, like snorkeling, diving, whale/dolphin watching, sea kayaking etc, and inland: walking, mountainbiking, cycling. Some nice villages like Noli and Finalbuorgo are close by.

According to my life style Pietra Ligure meet my needs as a traveler, its a mixture of city and urban environment, if dont like a lot of motor vehicles sound during your stay then dont prefer to stay in the city center but the disadvantage is that you have to walk a bit to access the beaches.
In terms of foods selection name it and you will have it. There are also a lot of products and foods that the locals can offer you.

Very nice, clean, friendly structure within short walking distance from the beach. Especially great for mountain bikers with dedicated storage room, cleaning station and a resident expert that operates his own shuttle service to the trailheads.

The hotel is about 1,5km from the city center, no bus, and no bikes, and no taxis are available.
It s domestic tourist visiting the area, therefore no one make an effort to speak English.
Food is a big disappointment and it s quite expensive for the value.
Restaurants closes early around 22:30 only snacks are open until late.
Private beaches are not worth the money and the good ones are already booked long time in advance.
The big advantage of this apartment is great location -just 2 minutes walk to the beach ; we especially liked the nearby beach as it was not so crowded, had nice beach bar also beautiful coastline. if you walk behind the rocks you find another sandy beach good for small children.
Apartment is quite small but designed and equipped well. Very clean. Kitchen is equipped well and there is washing machine ( but you cant do lots of washing since the drying rack is very small) . It has everything for baby/ toddler : baby chair, baby cot.
Stefan I and his family were gracious and kind hosts from start to finish. They picked up my daughter and I from the train, helped us arrange our itinerary for our day at the beach, and went above and beyond when we asked for recommendations for everything from taxis to cooking classes. And the food, room, bed and shower (great hot water and pressure) was exceptional! Such a lovely family with an admirable commitment to sustainability and hospitality. I would 100% come again!
Great location right across the street from the beach. Public access beaches are a little bit of a walk from there but for €10 you can go to the private beach right across the street and have two chairs, an umbrella and waiter named Paulo! I believe every room has a view of the beach and it was a treat to wake up to the sound of the ocean! The owner of the hotel is fantastic - she was so helpful. The breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend!
We had a quick stop at Pietra Ligure at this lovely guest house Barbaciiu. It's really cosy and clean place. All the staff is really friendly and kind. Also the breakfast was nice. They are also paying attention for being eco & green friendly. We will definitely come back for a longer period. But next time we'll come for MTB experience (yes, they are also "bikers friendly").
The hotel has a nice design with light colours and it's very clean. The room was not very large, but it had a balcony and the bathroom was modern with a double shower. There is a sun terrace on the top of the hotel with sunbeds and a jacuzzi. The staff is polite and professional. It's only a couple of steps from the beach.
I enjoyed the breakfast at this hotel. My dietary restrictions require gluten-free options, and the staff was able to provide cookies and croissants that fit the bill. The room was old-fashioned but feel cozy and warm. The staff was also friendly and accommodating, making for a pleasant overall experience.
The hotel is conveniently located, close to the sea and the town centre. You can see a little bit of sea through the room window. The staff is helpfull and pleasant. Facilieties are a little bit worn out, but all tidy and clean. There is a bar on the ground floor where you can buy breakfast and coffee.
The Breakfast is completely good which meet your energy booster to start for the day. The parking space which the hotel assigned it to me is a little bit luck of space because when you like to access your car baggage compartment its almost at the edge of the busy main road.
1) The rooms are very clean.
2) A public beach - 5 min walking.
3) The rooms are cosy and bright.
4) People in the hotel are super nice and friendly.
5) The conditioners in the rooms work really well that sometimes I forgot that I was in Italy.
The place is sweet and situated in 300years old building renovated with style. superb location - in the super locely historical centre of Pietra Ligure. Just few steps on foot to the beach. Great hosts. Certainly worth a stay!
The host is very nice and tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. But for a family stay of a week we found a space totally not convenient. Nice terrace outside. Not a bad location, 8-10 min to the beach by car.
The staff was super friendly and the breakfast was delicious. There was a gated parking available just a few minutes away from the hotel. The room was well equipped with everything you need. Would definitely come back!
Very nice staff, private parking available, access to the private beach (20€ per day) can be bought at the reception. Modern bathroom and a kitchen equipped with basic amenities. We had a great time!
For the price you pay its is great value for money, also it's close to very beautiful beaches and lovely restaurants. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the locals are also very friendly
