This small family-run hotel is a hidden gem that combines beautiful interiors, exceptional hospitality and a fantastic breakfast. It's truly a wonderful place to stay while traveling.
The B&B is located on the second floor. After two small flights, you enter into a cozy and comfortable interior that’s just beautiful. You can feel the history.
This main room hosts breakfast, which can either be enjoyed inside or directly outside on their gorgeous patio which overlooks one of the main streets in Monterosso. What a view! The interior breakfast room is charming and subtle, while the outdoor patio is filled with beautiful bright flowers, is tastefully decorated and the ideal for breakfast, snacks, a wine, or socializing with fellow travelers.
Our room was spacious had a very comfortable bed and pillows, and was spotless. Nice to haves.....a luggage rack, beach bag and beach towels, slippers, A/C, safe and large bathroom and large shower by European standards. There was a small bookshelf outside in the main room which was thoughtful.
Breakfast was exceptional. Freshly squeezed orange juice, pastries, fruit, toast, nuts, cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, some days eggs and personally made coffee and a personally made fruit bowl make it an absolutely perfect start to your day. There’s a complementary water machine, tea and coffee throughout the day. There are just too many small touches to note everything.
The owner Giovanni and his staff ( Connie) are exceptional. They are there for any and every question and need.

The staff were great and the position was fantastic
Monterosso was the pick of Cinque for us. It’s very pretty, with clean streets and being flatter than the other villages has more spacious areas - so not so crowded. If you have heavy luggage there are many options of accommodation without dragging those cases uphill or up countless stairs. Lots of cafes and little shops and very nice beaches. The 5 Villages walk starts from here. It’s well worth doing at least some of the walk if you can as you can just get the train back or to the other villages if you opt out of ealking.

Beautiful place very good for reaching all the other cinque terra villages. Has a lovely beach front and a charming old town. Excellent train connection and reasonable boat trips too. Perfect holiday destination whatever you want to do. Walk the trails, lie on the beach. Visit local area by train and you certainly must try the ice cream in each town you visit.

This was the best of our accommodations during our 2 week stay in Italy. Marta was amazing and provides shuttles and a good breakfast of granola, yogurt, fruit, pastries and even eggs, pancakes and cappuccino. The views were amazing and the rooms were very comfortable. I prefer a softer bed than what was in the room. However the pillows and linen were soft and comfortable.
Marta goes above and beyond what is necessary and always greeted us with a smile
I would definitely stay here again.
The b and b is up on a hill and a shuttle is provided but we walked back and forth without difficulty into the main part of town.

This was a cute and beautiful property in the old part of Monterosso. Far exceeded our expectations in terms of service, value for money, and location. The hotel has an amazingly friendly and helpful staff that helped to make the whole trip smooth, the breakfast in the morning was a delight with made to order options, and the location was perfect in the heart of the old town and just 10 mins away from the train station with each access to the other towns in cinque terre. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.
Well located near the best beach in Cinqueterre, this hotel puts you in the heart of the new side of Monterosso al Mare. The caring and friendly owners make sure you have everything you need for your Italian vacation. The shower is great, the bed is comfortable, and the room has everything that a traveler might need. I can see this being an outstanding hotel for a national park hiker. It is spotlessly clean. It was a great find and I was pleased to stay at the da Flo hotel
Even though there is no breakfast included, Federica still prepared bread and drinks in the morning which is really so nice of her! There's also free drinks on the mini bar in the room.
The room was big and the bed was so comfy. I should also mention that the interior of the room was great! Location is superb, just steps away from everything.
They also provided beach towels which is really good because being a beach bum, I can't resist swimming on the beach.
Location, setting, attention to detail.
We decided to stay overnight in Monterosso and took potluck on a hotel near the sea.
Hotel la Colonnina is an amazing oasis.
Our room was a tastefully decorated, spacious large double bedroom.
Each room has a semi private sun terrace and a roof garden which is ideal when the 5 min walk to the beach is too much like hard work! ;o)
loved the location of the hotel, right on the beach! there is nothing else like it - the area was beautiful and so close to the train station and beach! incredible spot for the price. close to the town and shopping, restaurants but still felt private and safe. staff was friendly and helpful. breakfast provided was very nice and sitting outside was a huge plus! we feel so lucky.
Perfect base for exploring Monterosso, as well as Cinque Terre on the whole. Less than a 5minute walk from the beach, there were plenty of restaurants near the hotel and an ideal playground within a 5 minute walk for our son to enjoy. Anyone who has kids, we would recommend this hotel.
Staff were very friendly and the breakfast buffet selection was fantastic.
Hotel Punta Mesco is in a great location. It's near the center of Monterosso al Mare, but still accessible by car (and with free parking!). Once you're here, it's easy to access the train station to explore the other cities in Cinque Terre. The staff are amazing, and go out of their way to make sure your stay is great. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful.
Hotel is well situated in Monterosso in a very quiet street but very close to restaurants and the beach about an 8 minute walk from the train station. Breakfast is great with a man excellent choice, fantastic table of sweets stuff and cakes. Staff were amazing and so helpful. Lovely wee bar and you can take your drinks to the 4th floor gardens.
Loved the space and the outdoor area and my balcony. It was great. Breakfast is simple but more than enough for me and my family. The scheduled shuttle to take u down to the village and up back to the hotel every hour. It was great from the hotel you can see most of the Cinque terre from the hotel. The staff are great and helpful
Stunning location in the hills above the Cinque Terre, on a historical pilgrimage route that ran from Rome to Santiago di Campostella. Away from the crowds of Monterosso. Not a touristy hotel, though it was full, but a retreat to pause and enjoy the countryside, its history and its produce. Nice local food at good prices.
The B&B has a perfect location in Monterosso al mare, great views over the sea and comfortable rooms. The hotel has a free shuttle service available to get to and from Monterosso, which is very handy especially on the way back up the steep hill.
Marta was very welcoming and ensured we were comfortable during our stay.
If you keep this place among your hotels I will never use booking.com again.
How can you represent this dump and its awful owner. Racist against black people , against Americans . Rude beyond reasonable comprehension for no apparent reason. The owner should be arrested for her racism .
Great location and free onsite parking, which is a huge plus in Cinque Terre! The breakfast was also perfect. Privately owned and run. If you need a fancy resort with a lot of amenities, this is not your place. If you want clean and sufficiently sized rooms, you found your hotel.
Great location in Monterosso (we recommend to live in Monterosso of all the villages). The host/owner of the hotel is so helpful, nice and funny! He will guide you to the best restaurants. Good breakfast with excellent coffee. Our room was big. Confy beds (not hard).
Best place we stayed during our entire time in Italy! The views of the sea are stunning! You're almost right on the beach. In two minutes you can reach the sea from the room. Close to the train too, which was very convenient. Comfiest bed we had in Italy.
Monterosso is the best of the villages for pregnant women as it is not steep; it's also the largest of the villages, so we could find anything needed. The hotel staff was super friendly and always trying to help.
Lovely hotel and great location in the hills above Monterosso... The onsite parking and free shuttle service to/from the town is a real bonus... Lovely breakfast.... Wish we could stay longer.
We loved this hotel, spotlessly clean, and an easy walk from Monterosso train station.Lovely breakfast,a variety of items.Nice bar area to have a drink when you returned after a day exploring!
