A dynamic multicultural city with a unique genius loci and an unrepeatable atmosphere. Amazing sights - Leonardo's Last Supper, Michelangelo's Pieta, Castelo Sforzesco, Duomo Milan, attractive luxury shopping - especially at Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. Hearing opera in the famous opera house La Scala is an incredible experience. The Royal Palace is now hosting a unique exhibition by fashion designers Dolce&Gabbana - Dal Cuore alle Mani, a visit to it is a fascinating experience for anyone who has the slightest interest in fashion and human art. This city gets "under the skin" of its visitors, and you don't know why it is. All you know is that you want to return to Milan as soon as possible.

Excellent architecture immaculate and easy to walk around nice restaurants and of course coffee shops if you like shopping Milan is a very fashionable city and holds fashion events throughout the year however it is exclusive and you will need an invite to attend. The only thing I found annoying was all the graffiti on the walls in the city which spoilt it for me.

Milan was a very nice and modern city.
Milan was a very nice and modern city. But as a tourist, who likes historical attractions, except the Duomo and Last Supper, there were not much to visit, therefore we planned and visited Florence as well which was stunning.

Centre of Milan very expensive
Centre of Milan very expensive
Best to stay in outside areas and walk in or tram.
We stayed in Bocconi District (fabulous), 20 mins walk to Nvagli which was fantastic
We took tram to Milano Central to do 2 x day trips and left for Venice, trains are good priced and very comfortable
Lovely hotel situated just outside Milan centre, which made it ideal to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre… Tram stop right outside and metro stop 5 min walk away which made it so easy to get to and from, wherever you are in the city once you figure out how to work them. Rooms lovely and spacious, very clean. Staff lovely and friendly, very helpful. And they have a lovely spa on the rooftop that needs booking but ideal for some downtime! All in all a lovely hotel which I’m glad I found!!!
The hotel is just 20 minutes' walk from the city centre and Milan Centrale Train Station, making it perfect to explore Milan. Our room was clean, spacious and had heating, which was great for the winter! Also the room had a balcony with a couple of chairs overlooking the street, which was a nice touch which we weren't expecting! The bathroom was also a good size and plenty of towels were provided.
Location is amazing.
while sometimes one only needs a place to stay but this hotel is so beautiful. the building is historic. I opened the window and the beautiful church of Santa Maria presso San Satiro was there.
the bathroom was spacious knowing that usually in italy where bathrooms are very small.
24/7 reception and they are very friendly.
I love this place and I would go back.
Starhotels Collezione in Italy is absolutely wonderful. Rosa Grand is right behind the duomo, so it’s easy to get to places by foot or by metro/tram.
We had 2 joining rooms for a family of 4. With Milan as our last stop and all of us being a bit exhausted, the rooms provided great comfort in between our multiple adventures.
Excellent position and very good breakfast. Friendly staff; the room was clean and free water was provided.
The location of the hotel is perfect if you need to go to the city centre, and the railway station ("Milano Centrale" the main railway station) is not too far, walking distance. Shops and supermarkets around.
Absolutely a little gem in Milan. I traveled all over italy for 2 weeks and this was the best stay ever! It’s located a bit outside of the duomo zone but it was a nice walk and a shirt taxi ride back. The breakfast was better than a 5 star hotel and so was the service. Unbelievable value for the money.
Nice hotel, very close to the railway station; very comfortable if you need to take the train from Milano Centrale (main railway stattion). Around the hotel there are many places like bars, supermarkets, restaurants and pizzerias. You can easily go to the city centre by metro, or walking.
I would appreciate this things: quiet location of Milano, direct connection to the city centre, perfect caffe bar just across the street, safe parking in hotel area, very good breakfast table, nice rooms and nice personal. I recommend for everyone travelling to Milan.
I liked the location of the Hotel, it was very central and only a few minutes away from the centre of Milan.
Also, the Hotel was able to arrange transport back to the main central train station on Easter Sunday (a day on which usually nobody works in Italy).
- The location was nice for people who wanted to use Milan as a hub for travel around the northern part of Italy. It is a walking distance from Milan central station.
- The host was nice and helpful.
- The building felt safe.
- It could host 6 people.
A superb boutique hotel in an amazing location in Milan city centre, close and accessible to everything. Staff very friendly, helpful. The hotel amenity unique in style . The happy hour delicious treats provided were great .
A simple hotel equipped with everything you need to explore Milan. The location is great - not far away from the central train station. The city centre can be reached easily by metro or bus. A great quality / price ratio.
Breakfast and staff were excellent, the hotel itself was of a very high standard and I would recommend it to any travellers to Milan. A good walk to the city centre, so in general a quiet location.
The lobby and staff are excellent, there is also a nice bar in the hotel. Location is perfect, very close to the Duomo and major city centre sites within Milan (Quadrilatero della mode, etc.).
Location was great. Having the metro station near by was a plus.
The hotel was good, it has the same features you always find at Italy hotels, somewhat old but well taken care of.
