Elegant little hotel at a good price. The sunset and morning view from the rooms was stunning. Staff were very friendly and helpful with bookings for dinner etc. Breakfast was excellent.

Marciana is a small, fine town with an old, well-preserved building structure that lives from tourism but is careful not to overcrowd the town with tourists. This way it remains authentic.
The people there are usually helpful and friendly. However, very few of them can speak English.

Villa Shanti is an amazing place surrounded by mountains and nature. It is right bellow the highest peak and Marciana Alta village. If you love quite peaceful places, it is the right place for you. Accommodation spacious, clean, kitchen fully equipped. The hosts were very helpful, communicated perfectly and promptly. Parking was provided. We were very satisfied and had a wonderful stay. This was a gem I stumbled on by chance. Perched on the hillside with stunning views of the sea…and what sunsets! Very much a small family hotel, spotlessly cleaned ( actually by the owner) and with fresh homemade food and vegetables from the garden.
And it has a pool, too.
Location was a short drive up the hill from Marciana Marina. I'm not sure how you would get there without driving, but if you are driving, this is highly recommended for a group stay. Very quiet and clean. Host was very welcoming.
The owners were wonderfully friendly and welcoming, and the apartment itself is situated in a fantastic small village in the mountainous winding hills of Marciana. It's authentic and beautiful (and full of topsy turvy stairs).
The location is astonishing, including the secluded beach accessible from the hotel. We ate very well at the restaurant, from where we enjoyed a gorgeous sunset. The view from our room terrace was also incredible
