Excellent location, everything run by a family and perfectly presented. Hotels own boat provided excellent excursions on the lake. Staff were great, friendly, helpful and efficient. Food, on the whole was very good, but could have done with an egg chef for breakfasts.Cleanliness was faultless.

There are only 8-9 rooms, so it really felt like a boutique hotel. The rooms are beautiful, very luxurious but still cosy and the bed was a dream! The staff were super friendly and helpful.

The hostess gave us a very warm welcome. The apartment is very clean & nicely furnished. Everything was great, we would love to come back!

Franziska and Roberta were the best hosts we have ever had a pleasure to meet. We had some tricky favors but they always tried to help us out. The location is great, amazing view! The mattress in the room is very comfortable. The room had a large terrace with sunbeds, a table a chairs. There was a kettle and tea in the room, which we found very convenient. Overall, if you are a fan of Italian old houses, it’s a great place to stay, because it has so much character! And the best part for me was the smell in the house. It was dreamy :)

Cannero Riviera is a beautiful small city along the shores of Lake Maggiore. The drive along the lake is wonderful. We were just passing through so we didn't spend much time here. Was a great stop over for us.

Cannero is a beautiful, quiet small town on Lago Maggiore. Although it is small, there are several lovely restaurants and bars. There is also a taxi boat to take you across to Luino or up to Cannobio - both of which are beautiful.

Cannero Riviera is a beautiful place to visit and a lovely little town to stroll around in. La Zagara was an excellent place to stay! Our room number 7 was very clean and nicely decorated. Just enough kitchen space to make a meal and the air conditioning was wonderful during an unusually hot period during our stay. The owners are so friendly and very helpful! We would love to stay here again in the future.
Starting with a friendly and efficient welcome from Claudia, we had a fantastic stay in this beautiful town of Cannero Riviera. The studios have a beautiful view of the lake and are spacious, modern and well equipped.
There are many trekking paths nearby offering superb viewpoints over the lake and surrounding landscapes.
The beach and restaurants make it an ideal spot for a romantic getaway and family trips.
We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Cannero as a family with adult children very much. The rooms, the swimming-pool, the restaurant and the tables right next to the water of Lago Maggiore are just great! You can go walking or hiking in the Cannero village or the nearby mountains right off from the hotel door. We will definitely come again and enjoy the peaceful and relaxing setting and dedicated service!
The property was in a wonderful location. A boutique hotel with friendly helpful staff and a good breakfast. The restaurant was also good at dinner with options for food intolerances. The rooms were large and quiet with fantastic uninterrupted views over Lake Maggiore. Parking was no issue as we could park close to the hotel with a free permit. Cannero Riviera is a lovely hidden gem.
Great bedroom, awesome beds, balcony overlooking the lake, with a fantastic view, super clean with a great bathroom, nicely decorated if a bit modern, free parking, but the best feature of the hotel was the fantastic breakfast with fresh, well-presented, copious foods for all tastes, in a beautiful dining room and another fantastic view of the lago Maggiore.
Perfect location, super friendly welcome and staff. The apartment was really clean and had an awesome view from the balcony. Parking is really comfortable as the place has a parking lot on the basement. Cannero Riviera is a small town and this accommodation is exactly in the middle so you can easily reach everything by foot in a few minutes.

Paolo is a super friendly and helpful host and tries to make the best out of your stay. His rooms are all furnished with love and have a wonderful view over the lake. There is also the option of a private parking lot in a car park. We have been there several times and are going to stay there again if we are in this area.
Casa Marty is perfectly located in this delightful village. All you need is no more than a short walk; supermarket, bars, cafés, restaurants.
Mariella is a fantastic host. Really prompt communication. The apartment is simply furnished but she has thought of everything.
Finally...the place was so very very clean.
The location is exceptional. We had a nice corner room overlooking the lake. The beds were comfortable, the furniture was nice, the food was good and the breakfast small but solid. Overall a nice boutique hotel, with an exceptional view and friendly staff. Would book again anytime.
Excellent breakfast and very helpful staff, even provided to pick us up from the center after our dinner but we walked. Also helped us to find hiking locations. Flexible check in, we arrived very late at 10pm but was no problem. Free parking. Nice view over the lake.
Breakfast was very good but on the morning when they served Salmon, it wasn't replaced once finished.

The hotel is BEAUTIFUL and has HUGE potential. The location on the water has no parallel. It is like a romantic movie. I can’t think of a better location in Garda.
