Brenzone sul garda is a collection of smaller villages ,some on the lake and others on the hills overlooking the lake .It was much quieter than the other lakeside towns that we visited .We enjoyed walking on the long promenade /cycle route that runs lakeside and also followed the hiking routes.About 15 minutes drive from Malcisine which is convenient for the ferries on the lake

We were out of season so it was quiet and a few of the restaurants were shut. It was obvious that Covid had meant closures of some restaurants.
If you wanted water sports and lots of bars and activities this village on the lake is not for you.
It was peaceful so we had a car and visited other places and returned to the peace in the evening.

Brenzone sul Garda is a quiet lake community that seems to welcome people who come back here year after year. The other tourists in town were predominantly German. It was mostly families or wind-surfers or boaters or mountain bikers. There are several restaurants within walking distance that cater to different tastes and wallets. The weather can be a bit unpredictable, but even during the stormy days, there were a few hours of sunshine. The lake itself is amazing with breathtaking views, pleasant water, and beautiful sunsets.

Nice and quiet place. 2 bus routes run through the town, which is very convenient. You can quickly get to the neighboring large city of Malcesine near Mount Baldo. In the evening we enjoyed sunsets on the promenade with a glass of Aperol shprits

Nice hotel!
We got a room the looks classic and retro, the view is magnifisic to the lake.
There is free bicycle that u can use and 1 hour free of kayak (after that small pay per hour).
More over there is table soccer, pool, ping pong and more out side at the hotel the u can play free!
There is parking area of the hotel with inderground access to the lake.
The hotel is far from the attraction but with car u can get anywhere (if u don't want to drive don't book in this hotel)
Wonderful little hotel with a great view of the lake. Located up the mountain, it gets nice and cool in the evening. Perfect after a hot summer day. The room was clean, and had everything needed for a few days stay. Amazing value for money, for a 2 star hotel. The staff speaks Italian, Romanian, English, and they do all they can to make your stay wonderful. Having dinner at the restaurant there, on the terrace, while enjoying the view of the lake at night, is pure therapy.
This hotel is an absolute gem! Excellent location right in front of the lake. We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment- everything was new & modern. Not to mention the breathtaking views from the balconies! But the best part about our stay was the staff of the hotel, everyone was so sincere, kind, welcoming & helpful. Big big big thank you to Maria, Alessandro, Jeanne & everyone else for making our trip unforgettable♥️

The hotel was very well located with easy access to transport and maps that allowed you to explore further around.
One day we return to Lago di Garda it will certainly be to return to Hotel Sorriso.
The owner and her family were very friendly. The rooms were very clean, we had a great view to the lake. Excellent breakfast, even fresh orange juice. The pizza they serve at the restaurant is also very delicious. The beach is very close to the hotel, which also provides free parking spaces. We would definitively recommend the hotel.

Fabulous location on the lake and friendly and helpful staff! The rooms were great and especially got better when I was upgraded to room 20 with front row view of the lake. It is a family run hotel and after a few days I almost felt like I was part of the family, the owners are around whole day, very friendly, always willing to help, which is something I really appreciated. Also the cleaning guy came every day so our room was always in perfect shape.
Excellent breakfast, tremendous choice. Located directly on the lake so great views and convenient for the bus. Staff were always helpful. They also had a nice bar/cafe on the lake front separate from the main hotel but only a short walk away.
Great location as the hotel is on the shore of the lake and you don't have to cross the road to get to the beach. A private beach and beach chairs are enough for everyone. Great suite with a balcony and wonderful view of Lake Garda.
