The staff! Big Thanks to them all especially Diego who spoilt us. Everyone was helpful. The hotel decor is fresh and uplifting. Rooms were nice.
The shower is THE BEST shower I have ever used and designed so well it doesn’t make a mess.
We didn’t eat there but the restaurant looked nice. We did use the bar every evening which has a lovely indoor and outdoor seating area - Diego made sure we could watch football each night and allowed food to be delivered there.
We ventured to the rooftop once to find a basic gym and small hot tub. We didn’t use either but it was a nice little area.
It is located out of the old town but it was only a 30 mins walk and there is a bus stop outside. There is a lovely restaurant less than 5 min walk away and some local shops close if needed. One evening we took an Uber back which cost €19 but staff said we should stick to local cabs because they are cheaper.
I don’t have a single complaint from the hotel - they checked shortly after we settled into the room that we were ok and again on our last day. They made me feel that had there been an issue it would have been sorted out quickly.

The hotel is in a remote area and if you don’t have car the only way you can get to the center of town is by bus .

The people of Bolognia were really friendly, loads to do and see with an outdoor cinema when we were there. I would however advise taking the train up to San Luca (small tourist train) as it was a bit of a climb up.
Food was amazing, just wish we stayed longer.

It's a great idea to use the public transport - buses, it's cheap – you dont pay more than 6 euros for 24 hours and you buy the ticket in bus just with your visa card! Next time I'll try renting a bike because there are lots of people cycling and it doesn't seem too dangerous.

The heat and humidity spoiled our stay as it made walking around exhausting.
The worst experience was the queues at the airport. 3 separate queues totalling 2 hours! The Marconi Express was a disgrace. Totally overpriced at eur25.80 for 2 for a 7 minute journey. The monorail was too fast. There were only a few seats with the rest of the travellers jam packed and standing in the remaining small space. We were all being thrown around, hanging on for dear life. An awful, quite frightening experience. I'm sure Marconi would be disgusted at being linked to this awful service.
Large sized room with lovely big windows, air conditioning worked beautifully. The breakfast had a selection of croissants, pastries, tarts and everything else. The staff were friendly and spoke enough English to get by. The price is a little more than average for a B&B but you definitely get what you pay for and feel rather pampered. The walk into central Bologna was not far. I would also recommend the Pizza shop, diagonally opposite the coop and on the same road, which does fantastic food at the cheapest prices I've seen in Italy.
I loved the full service! Taxi collection from the airport, the location of the property being right in the heart of Bologna, entrance to the flat via special key code, the awesomeness of the accommodation and communication with the host. Property was beautiful, spotlessly clean and it had everything one can wish for in a 5* hotel. Seriously, I was so happy I have booked this property and once I return, I sure will come back here. Simply wow!!!! And big thanks goes to its owner!!
We really enjoyed our stay in Bologna. The hotel was the perfect location for us. Close to the train station and close to shops and restaurants, but away from the crowds. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. They recommended great restaurants and answered all of our questions about the area. They also arranged a taxi to the airport when we were leaving. The rooms are very spacious and clean. We would definitely stay at this hotel again if in Bologna.
This was my second stay at this excellent hotel. Faultless. Very comfortable room and modern well-appointed en suite shower room. Reception staff are wonderful, helpful and professional. The hotel is in a great location in central Bologna, with Piazza del Nettuno and the historic centre, shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. I parked at the nearby Parcheggio Piazza VIII Agosto which was easy. Breakfast was excellent with different options available.
This is a beautifully decorated small hotel quite close to the centre of Bologna. Everything was walkable and the area felt safe at night. Breakfast in the garden was a lovely start to each day with plenty of selection. All the staff were knowledgeable, polite and friendly, going the extra mile to keep all guests happy even though it was a full hotel and peak season. Beds were comfy and shower was good. Definitely on my recommend in Bologna list.

This is a real boutique hotel with only 4 rooms in a building in the central old town of Bologna. The owner/manager is very kind and helped us with whatever we needed (late check-in, restaurant and taxi reservation). Breakfast is very good, with fruits, cheese, ham, pastries, eggs on demand, everything really fresh. Bed is very comfortable. Can definitely be recommended.
A beautiful old apartment that has been subdivided into several hotel rooms. The shared kitchen/living room was stunning. The location was super central and our host was very friendly and met us at the door to explain everything and suggest where to go in Bologna. The room isn't huge but there is enough storage space, as well as a stunning high ceiling and tall window.

The room was spacious, very clean but with a basic furniture. Although our room was above a busy street, it was very quiet. Wonderful large apartment nicely finished and decorated. Very well located to visit all around center of Bologna. Decent access to bus to get to and from the central train station (and airport). A bit of local roadworks made this a bit more complicated. However, would highly recommend this apartment if you are visiting Bologna. Would stay here again.
Although the hotel is literally located at the end of the urban Bologna, bus 25 last stop is in front of the hotel and one will be downtown in 15 minutes. The hotel is affordable, rooms are cleaned daily, and breakfast is abundant for Italian 3*. The staff is kind. The airport is nearby - a 7-8 minutes taxi ride which is cheaper than Marconi express.
The location is magnificent! In the heart of Bologna historical center, right next to Piazza Maggiore, has a lot of nice little eateries nearby with excellent food, lots of choices and affordable prices. We took the train from the airport to Bologna Centrale and then had a nice 10 minute walk along Via dell'Indipendenza to reach the apartment.
Wow amazing stay! Silvia was so friendly and helpful and the apartment was fantastic. I especially loved the plentiful breakfast options, including fruit, which is unusual in Italy! Good location - quiet residential area and it was very easy to walk into the centre of Bologna (about 15 mins) or to the train station (also about 15 mins).
We needed a hotel close to the Bologna airport in order to catch a 6:00 AM flight. The hotel was very efficient in this regard; the 4 am shuttle to the airport was on time, and we easily made our flight. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant the night before our flight; the dinner was very good and prices weren't bad.
The location is great. 10-15 minutes by foot to Bologna central station and maybe 5 minutes to reach the inner city.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The reception is manned until 12pm but there is a code so you can enter the hotel at anytime during the night.

The apartments are in the centre of Bologna and easy access to all attractions. They were so clean and so quite at night time. We loved having more space than a hotel room and the two bathrooms were fantastic. Great value for money.
We stayed at Conte Luna for a night before an early flight out of Bologna airport. It is a quiet hotel and the night staff was very helpful with our bags and arranging an early morning taxi.
